Վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարանում նախագահող դատավոր  Արմեն Դանիելյանի և ՀՀ երկրորդ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի պաշտպան Հայկ Ալումյանի միջև դատական նիստի ընթացքում վեճ ծագեց: Վիճաբանությունը տեղի ունեցավ այն բանից հետո, երբ  Հայկ Ալումյանը առարկեց դատավորի գործողությունների դեմ և ցանկություն հայտնեց ներկայացնել այդ առարկությունը, սակայն նախագահող դատավորը թույլ չտվեց՝ նշելով, որ տվյալ պահին այդ փուլը չի:

Դատավորը հորդորեց Ալումյանին նստել, սակայն վերջինս պնդեց, որ ցանկանում է առարկություններ ներկայացնել:

Դատարանը, նկատի ունենալով, որ Ալումյանը նախագահող դատավորի հետ զուգահեռ խոսում է և թույլ չի տալիս դատական նիստը վարել՝ 10 րոպեով ընդմիջում հայտարարեց` կրքերը հանդարտեցնելու համար:

Վերաքննիչ քրեական դատարանում շարունակվում է ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի, Սեյրան Օհանյանի, Յուրի Խաչատուրովի և Արմեն Գևորգյանի վերաբերյալ՝ Գլխավոր դատախազության, ինչպես նաև տուժողների իրավահաջորդների ներկայացուցիչ Վահե Գրիգորյանի և տուժողի ներկայացուցիչ Սեդա Սաֆարյանի բողոքների վերաբերյալ նիստը:
 
Մայիսի 18-ին Երևան քաղաքի ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանի դատավոր Դավիթ Գրիգորյանը որոշեց Քոչարյանի խափանման միջոց կալանքը փոխարինել Արցախի ներկա և նախկին նախագահներ Բակո Սահակյանի և Արկադի Ղուկասյանի անձնական երաշխավորությամբ: Այնուհետև դատավոր Գրիգորյանը կասեցրեց քրեական գործի վարույթն ու այն ուղարկեց Սահմանադրական դատարան:
 
ՀՀ գլխավոր դատախազությունը մայիսի 23-ին բողոքարկեց ՀՀ երկրորդ նախագահ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի և մյուսների գործով Երևան քաղաքի ընդհանուր իրավասության դատարանի դատավոր Դավիթ Գրիգորյանի կայացրած երկու որոշումները:
 
Համաձայն Datalex տեղեկատվական համակարգում հրապարակված մեղադրական եզրակացության՝ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը 1998թ․ ապրիլի 9-ից մինչեւ 2008 թվականի ապրիլի 9-ը զբաղեցնելով ՀՀ Նախագահի պաշտոնը, տապալել է ՀՀ սահմանադրական կարգը, ինչպես նաեւ իր պաշտոնեական դիրքն օգտագործելով «Թի Էս Էս Սի Արմենիա» ՍՊ ընկերության միակ մասնակից եւ տնօրեն Սիլվա Համբարձումյանի օգտին գործողություններ կատարելուն նպաստելու, 2008 թվականի փետրվարին եւ մայիսին Սամվել Մայրապետյանի օժանդակությամբ նրանից ստացել է առանձնապես խոշոր չափերով՝ 927․000․000 ՀՀ դրամին համարժեք 3․000․000 ԱՄՆ դոլար կաշառք։
