Շրջակա միջավայրի նախարար Էրիկ Գրիգորյանը չի շտապում բնապահպանական ինտրիգը բացել, չնայած, որ հասարակությունը չունչը պահած սպասում է, թե կառավարությունն ինչ հանգուցալուծում է առաջարկելու:

Նախարարի խոսքով, դեռ պարզ չէ նաև ընկերության հաշվարկած ո՛չ վնասի չափը, ո՛չ էլ հասցեատերը: Գրիգորյանը կարծում է, որ եթե ընկերությունը որոշակի պահանջներ ունի, կարող է դրանք թղթին հանձնել ու ներկայացնել, իսկ թե կառավարությունն ինչ որոշման կարող է հանգել, նա ոչինչ չգիտի:

Գերատեսչությունը որևէ իրավահարաբերությունների մեջ չի մտել նաև Թեղուտի հանքավայրը շահագործող ընկերության հետ: Հետաքրքիր է, որ հանքավայրի շահագործման արդյուքնում գոյացած ու լեփլեցուն լցված պոչամբարների հարցը ևս կրկին այնքան էլ արդիական չէ գերատեսչության ղեկավարի համար:

Ինչ վերաբերում է Հաշվեքննիչ պալատի բացահայտումներին, Է. Գրիգորյանը հակադարձում է, թե իր ղեկավարած գերատեսչությունը կապ չունի Գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի կողմից տրված խեցգետնի որսի թույլատրելի քնակի և Հայաստանից արտահանած քանակի տաբերության հետ, չբացառելով, որ ավել արտահանման փաստը կարող է կապված լինել այլ երկրից խեցգետին ներկրելու և Հայաստանից արտահանելու հետ:

Այս վարկածն ավելի շուտ ֆանտաստիկայի է նման քան իրականության, քանի որ ամենայն հավանականությամբ Հաշվեքննիչ պալատը նաև այդ գործոնը հաշվի առած կլինի և դժվար թե հաշվետվության մեջ նման բացթողում թույլ տված լինի: Ի դեպ, Հաշվեքննիչ պալատի ուսումնասիրության մեջ կար նաև սիգի որսի թույլտվության և սիգի պահածոյի արտահանման ծավալների հսկայական տարբերության մասին, բայց չգիտես ինչու հարգարժան նախարարն այդ մասին ոչինչ չասաց:

Հավանաբար այն պատճառով, որ ինքն էլ գիտի, որ Հայաստան սիգ ներմուծել հնարավոր չէ, քանի որ այլ տեղում այն չի աճում: Մեկ բան ակնհայտ է, որ նախարարը շարունակում է բոլոր թերացումները շրջանցել, իսկ պատասխանատվության սլաքներն ուղղել դեպի նախորդներ, մոռանալով, որ նախորդ իշխանությունների ժամանակ ինքը Բնապահպանության փոխնախարարի պաշտոնն է զբաղեցրել:

Ուստի ինչքան էլ նա փորձի ոլորտում առկա արատավոր երևույթներն իրենից հեռու պահել, միևնույն է համոզիչ չի լինի, քանի որ նախորդների ժամանակ ինքը իշխանական կերակրատաշտին շատ մոտ է եղել, ինչը չէր կարող պատահականություն լինել:
