Ինչպես դեպքի վայրից հայտնում է ֆոտոլրագրող Գագիկ Շամշյանը, Նոր-Նորքի 5-րդ զանգվածում կրակոցներ են հնչել և դեպքի վայր ժամանած ոստիկանության Նոր-Նորքի օպերատիվ խումբը՝ բաժնի պետ Կարեն Բունիաթյանի գլխավորությամբ, նշված շենքի բակում հայտնաբերել են սպանվածի դին:

Դեպքի վայր է ժամանել նաև ոստիկանության Երևան քաղաքի վարչության պետ Գարիկ Ղուկասյանը, վարչության օպերգծով տեղակալ Ալիկ Մամիկոնյանը: Ժամանել է նաև Հայաստանի քննչական կոմիտեի Երևան քաղաքի քննչական վարչության Ավան և Նոր-Նորք վարչական շրջաների քննչական բաժնի խումբը՝ բաժնի պետ Վարդան Ավագյանի, բաժնի պետի տեղակալ Վահե Լաչինյանի գլխավորությամբ:

Այս պահին դեպքի վայրում աշխատում են քննիչները, ոստիկանության փորձաքրեագետները: 

Ոստիկանությունն ու քննչական բաժինը պարզում են սպանվածի ինքնությունը:
