Ադրբեջանը գնալով իրեն դրսևորում է ոչ թե որպես միջազգային հանրության կողմից ճանաչված, լեգիտիմ և միջազգային հարաբերությունների կրող երկիր, այլ որպես ահաբեկչական կազմակերպություն: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում նման տեսակետ արտահայտեց ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների առաջին պաշտպան, «Ընդդեմ իրավաբան կամայականության» ՀԿ գործադիր տնօրեն Լարիսա Ալավերդյանը: Զրուցակցին խնդրել էինք գնահատական տալ Ադրբեջանի ռազմագերիների, գերիների և անհայտ կորածների հարցերով պետական կոմիտեի աշխատանքային խմբի ղեկավար Ֆիրուդին Սադըգովի կատարած հայտարարությունների վերաբերյալ:
Մասնավորապես, Սադըգովն ասել է, որ Ադրբեջանը կթույլատրի մոտենալ ու վերցնել հայ օդաչուների դիերը, եթե հարկ համարի: Ինչպես նաև ադրբեջանցի պաշտոնյան անդրադարձել է այդ երկրում գերության մեջ գտնվող հինգհոգիանոց ընտանիքի հարցին' նշելով, որ որևէ երրորդ պետություն չի ցանկանում նրանց ընդունել:
Ադրբեջանի Մեջլիսի պատգամավորն էլ հայտնել է, որ օդաչուների դիերը հանձնելու պայման կարող է լինել Ստեփանակերտում դատվող ադրբեջանցի դիվերսանտների ետ վերադարձը:
«Ադրեբջանի նմանատիպ վարքագիծն ուղղակի կարելի է տեսնել նրանց քայլերում' նույն այդ «առևտուրը», այն, որ երկար ժամանակ այդպես էլ անհասնկանալի է, թե ինչու են պահել ընտանիքին գերության մեջ: Չէ որ, ըստ նրանց, ընտանիքը տեղափոխվել է ուղղակի, ու ես չեմ լսել, որ նրանք երրորդ երկիր գնալու ցանկություն հայտնեն: Ադրբեջանը ղեկավարվում է ոչ թե միջազգային իրավունքների, նորմերի և ժամանակակից միջզագային հարաբերությունների հայեցակարգով, այլ նույն ձևով, ինչպես «Իսլամական պետություն» կոչվածը' օգտվելով մի հանգամանքից, որ դեռ նավթ ունի: Այնինչ, մենք պետք է հստակեցնենք, որ միջազգային հանրությունը, երկակի ստանդարտների կիրառումով, թողտվություն է ցուցաբերում Ադրբեջանի քաղաքականության վերաբերյալ»,-ասաց Լարիսա Ալավերդյանը:
2010 թվականի հունվարին Եղիշե Գևորգյանն ու Ռուզաննա Մարդանյանն իրենց երեխաների' Ալֆրեդի, Գայանեի և Պետրոսի հետ անցել էին սահմանն ու հայտնվել Ադրբեջանում:
Ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական սահմանի արևելյան հատվածի օդային տարածքում նոյեմբերի 12-ին ժամը 13.45-ի սահմաններում, ուսումնավարժական թռիչքի ժամանակ ադրբեջանական ԶՈՒ-ի կողմից հրադադարի ռեժիմի խախտման արդյունքում խոցվել է ԼՂՀ ՌՕՈւ ՄԻ-24 ուղղաթիռը: Խոցման վայրը շփման գծին չափազանց մոտ է: Հակառակորդը շարունակում է տարբեր տրամաչափի հրաձգային զենքերից ինտենսիվ կրակ բացել դեպքի վայրի ուղղությամբ:
Անձնակազմի հրամանատարն է եղել մայոր Սերգեյ Սահակյանը: Մյուս երկու զինծառայողներն էին լեյտենանտ Ազատ Սահակյանը եւ ավագ լեյտենանտ Սարգիս Նազարյանը: Նոյեմբերի 12-ին կատարվածի առնչությամբ ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խումբը հաղորդագրություն էր տարածել ու դատապարտել կատարվածը: Եվրամիությունը, դատապարտելով կատարվածը, կոչ է արել միջադեպի մանրամասները պարզելու համար անհապաղ սկսել հետաքննություն եւ արդյունքները ներկայացնել միջազգային հանրությանը: Հայտարարությամբ հանդես է եկել նաեւ ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարությունը:
