Հետազոտողների միջազգային խումբը տեսանկարահանել է հանրահայտ «Տիտանիկ» նավը, որը 1912 թվականին աղետի հետևանքով սուզվել էր օվկիանոսի հատակը: Սա պատմության մեջ առաջին դեպքն է, երբ նավը նկարահանվել է 4K ձևաչափով: Այս մասին գրում է The Guardian-ը:

Հաղորդվում է, որ միջազգային խումբն իրականացրել է ջրասուզման հինգ դեպք: Սուզումները կատարվել են «Թրիտոն» սուզանավերով: «Տիտանիկ» նավը, որը ժամանակին համարվում էր «անհաղթելի», գտնվում է ծովի մակարդակից 4 հազար մետր խորության վրա։ 

Հրապարակված կադրերում երևում է, որ նավի առաջամասը քայքայվել է աղային քայքայումներից և բակտերիաներից: Հետազոտողների համաձայն՝ քայքայման գործընթացը կշարունակվի, քանի որ դա բնական երևույթ է:

«Տիտանիկ»-ը 1912 թվականի ապրիլի 14-ի լույս 15-ի գիշերն առաջին ուղևորության ժամանակ, բախվելով այսբերգի, խորտակվել էր Հյուսիսային Ատլանտիկայում: Առաջին անգամ նավի բեկորները հայտնաբերվել են Ռոբերտ Բալարդի արշավախբի կողմից՝ 1985 թվականին։ Հետագայում տարբեր արշավախմբեր օվկիանոսի հատակից դուրս են բերել հազարավոր հետազոտման ենթակա առարկաներ:
