Սլովենիայի Մարիբոր քաղաքում օգոստոսի 23-29-ն անցկացված EJOI2019 (European Junior Olympiads in Informatics-Եվրոպայի ինֆորմատիկայի պատանիների օլիմպիադա) ինֆորմատիկայի 3-րդ միջազգային օլիմպիադային, որին մասնակցում էր 24 երկրի 90 աշակերտ, ՀՀ թիմը նվաճել է 1 ոսկե և 2 բրոնզե մեդալ։ 

 

Ոսկե մեդալի է արժանացել Քվանտ վարժարանի աշակերտ Ալեքսանդր Աբելյանը, իսկ բրոնզե մեդալների՝ Էմիլ Կոստանյանը /Ա. Շահինյանի անվան ֆիզմաթ հատուկ դպրոց/ և Արայի Խալաթյանը /«Քվանտ» վարժարան/։ Հայաստանի թիմը ղեկավարում էին ԵՊՀ-ից Ալբերտ Սահակյանը և Լևոն Մուրադյանը, իսկ ԵՊՀ դասախոս Արմեն Անդրեասյանն ընդգրկված էր օլիմպիադայի միջազգային կոմիտեի կազմում։

Մրցույթն անցկացվել էր երկու փուլով, որոնցից յուրաքանչյուրում աշակերտները ծրագրավորման որևէ լեզվով կատարել են 3-ական առաջադրանք։ Մրցույթին կարող էր մասնակցել առավելագույնը 4 աշակերտ յուրաքանչյուր երկրից՝ բացառությամբ ընդունող երկիրը (2 թիմ, 8 աշակերտ)։ Ի դեպ, մրցույթներն անցկացվում են համաձայն IOI-ի ստանդարտների։
