Հայաստանում այսօր ակտիվորեն զարգանում է տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների ոլորտը, եւ երկիրն աշխարհին ցույց տալու շատ բան ունի WCIT-2019 ՏՏ համաշխարհային համաժողովի ընթացքում: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց Առաջատար տեխնոլոգիաների ձեռնարկությունների միության (UATE) նախագահ Ալեքսանդր Եսայանը: 

«Հայաստանում WCIT-ի անցկացումը մեր երազանքն էր 2014 թվականից: Համաշխարհային IT ինդուստրիայի շատ հայտնի մարդիկ կգան Հայաստան»,- ասաց Եսայանը՝ հավելելով, որ միջոցառումը կլինի ողջ աշխարհի ուշադրության կենտրոնում, արդեն արտասահմանյան մի շարք ԶԼՄ-ների ներկայացուցիչներ են հավատարմագրվել Հայաստանում տարվա կարեւորագույն միջոցառումը լուսաբանելու համար:

Համաժողովին կմասնակցեն ավելի քան 300 կամավորներ, որոնց հավաքը տեղի ունեցավ Ամերիկյան համալսարանում: Կամավորական կորպուսի ղեկավար Ղազար Հակոբյանի խոսքով՝ կամավորներին ընտրել են մանրակրկիտ կերպով. նախապատվություն են տվել նրանց, ովքեր օտար լեզուներ գիտեն, կամավորական գործունեության փորձ ունեն, ինչպես նաեւ աշխատում են IT ոլորտում:

Կամավորներից մեկը՝ մասնագիտությամբ իրավաբան Ռուզաննա Գեւորգյանը վաղուց էր երազում մասնակցել WCIT-ին եւ երբ իմացել է, որ համաժողովի համար կամավորների են փնտրում, անմիջապես հայտ է ներկայացրել: Ռուզաննան տիրապետում է իտալերենին, անգլերենին, հայերենին եւ ռուսերենին եւ կամավորական գործունեության փորձ ունի: Նրա խոսքով՝ ինքը դեռեւս չգիտի՝ ինչ խնդիրներ կդրվեն իր առջեւ համաժողովի ընթացքում, սակայն վստահ է, որ դա հետաքրքիր եւ օգտակար փորձ կլինի:

Հետաքրքիր է, որ կամավորների մեծ մասն աղջիկներ են: Ղազար Հակոբյանը նշեց, որ դա բացատրվում է հայաստանյան ընդհանուր իրավիճակով. այստեղ աղջիկները, որպես կանոն, ավելի ակտիվ են, մոտիվացված եւ հաճույքով են նման միջոցառումների մասնակցում:  

Հիշեցնենք, որ «WCIT 2019» ՏՏ համաշխարհային համաժողովը տեղի կունենա Երեւանում, հոկտեմբերի 6-9-ին։ Համաժողովը հյուրընկալվում է Հայաստանում՝ ՀՀ կառավարության բարձր հովանու ներքո եւ աջակցությամբ։ ՏՏ համաշխարհային համաժողովը հիմնադրել է Տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների եւ ծառայությունների համաշխարհային դաշինքը (WITSA)։ Համաժողովը կազմակերպում է Առաջատար տեխնոլոգիաների ձեռնարկությունների միությունը (UATE)։
