Ոստիկանության Էրեբունու բաժնի հետաքննչական բաժանմունքում նյութեր են նախապատրաստվում դեկտեմբերի 24-ին «Էրեբունի» բուժկենտրոնից ոստիկանության Էրեբունու բաժին ստացված ահազանգի փաստով։ Այս մասին հայտնում է Shamshyan.com-ը։ Ժամը 23։20-ի սահմանում նշված ԲԿ-ից ոստիկանության Էրեբունու բաժին հայտնել են, որ «աջ նախաբազկի ստորին երրորդի կտրած վերք, քթի շրջանի պատռած վերք, փափուկ հյուսվածքների վնասվածքներ» ախտորոշմամբ իրենց մոտ է տեղափոխվել մի քաղաքացի։

Ոստիկաները պարզել են, որ վիրավորը Արագածոտնի մարզի բնակիչ՝ 32-ամյա Սեդրակ Մ.-ն է, որը հիվանդանոցում բժիշկներին հայտնել է, որ Գյումրի-Երևան ավտոճանապարհին կանգնեցրել են իր ավտոմեքենան և դանակով հարձակվել իր վրա։ Ոստիկաններն այնուհետև պարզել են, որ նույն օրը, ժամը 19-ի սահմանում Սեդրակ Մ-ի ավտոմեքենան, որպես ուղևոր նստած անհայտ անձը Գյումրի քաղաքից դեպի Շիրակի մարզի Բենյամին գյուղ տանող ճանապարհահատվածում դանակը պահել է Սեդրակ Մ-ի պարանոցին և առաջացած քաշքշուկի ընթացքում վերջինիս ձեռքերին առաջացել են վնասվածքներ։ Սեդրակ Մ-ն այնուհետև հայտնել է, որ նշված անձն այդ ժամանակ կրծոտել է իր քիթն ու ահաբեկելով՝ հափշտակել է իր մոտ եղած 200 հազար դրամը, այնուհետև դիմել փախուստի։ Փաստի առթիվ հետաքննիչի կողմից նշանակվել է դատաբժշկական փորձաքննություն։
