BMW ընկերությունը ստեղծում է մեծ էլեկտրական սպորտային սեդան։ Երկշարժիչ լիաքարշ էկոլոգիապես մաքուր ավտոմեքենան կանվանվի i6 եւ բավարական ապրանքանիշին թույլ կտա մրցակցել Tesla Model S-ի, Audi e-tron GT-ի, Mercedes-Benz EQS-ի հետ։ Ակնկալվում է, որ BMW i6-ն իր բնութագրերով չի զիջի Porsche Taycan էլեկտրամոբիլին։

Իտալական Autoblog-ը գրում է, որ իր չափերով BMW i6-ը կհիշեցնի i Vision Dynamics-ին, որը 2017թ․ ներկայացվել է Ֆրանկֆուրտի ավտոսրահում։ Միաժամանակ, նորույթի դիզայնը կպահպանվի կուպեանման 8-Series Gran Coupe ոճով։

Ըստ լուրերի՝ i6-ի բազային տարբերակը կստանա երկու eDrive էլեկտրաշարժիչ, շարժիչը առջեւի անվադողերի վրա կունենա 204 ձիաուժ, իսկ հետեւի սռնու վրա 340 ձիաուժ հզորություն։ Այսպիսով, ուժերի գումարային հզորությունը կհասնի 544 ձիաուժի, ինչը թույլ կտա մոդելին մրցակցել 530 ձիաուժանոց Porsche Taycan 4S-ի հետ։ i6 M Performance մոդիֆիկացիան կստանա 340 ուժային էլեկտրաշարժիչ եւ կկարողանա պայքարել 625-ուժային Taycan Turbo-ի գնորդների համար։

BMW i6-ի համար կառաջարկեն երկու մոդիֆիկացիա՝ 90 եւ 120 կիլովատ/ժամ մարտկոցներով, հայտնում է Motor-ը։

Ծրագրվում է, որ BMW i6-ը նույնությամբ չի կրկնի «ութնյակին» եւ կդառնա ինքնուրույն մոդել՝ էլեկտրական ուժային սարքով՝ ի տարբերություն i1-ի, i4-ի, i7-ի կամ iX3-ի, որոնք կդառնան համապատասխանաբար 1-Series-ի, 4-Series Gran Coupe-ի, 7-Series-ի եւ Х3-ի էկոլոգիապես մաքուր տարբերակները։
