Աշխատանքային այցով Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրություններում գտնվող Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանն «Աբու Դաբի կայունության շաբաթ»-ի շրջանակում մասնակցել է կայունության, շրջակա միջավայրի և վերականգնվող էներգիայի խնդիրներին և դրանց մեջ կանանց ներգրավվածությանը նվիրված քննարկմանը:

Այս մասին հաղորդում են Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահի աշխատակազմի հասարակայնության հետ կապերի վարչությունից։ 

Կարևորելով նման քննարկումները՝ նախագահ Սարգսյանն ասել է, որ բարձրացվող հարցերը վերաբերում են ապագային ու սպասվող մարտահրավերներին, այն ռիսկերին, որոնց առնչվելու ենք վաղը: «Մենք ապրում ենք մի դարում, որտեղ երիտասարդ նորարարություններն ու ստարտափերը կառավարում են աշխարհը,- ասել է նախագահը։ -Այս երկիրը լավ օրինակ է, թե ինչպես նոր տեխնոլոգիաները, գիտելիքը, իմաստուն որոշումներն ու առաջնորդությունը կարող են լավ արդյունքներ ունենալ բոլորի համար»:

Խոսելով կայունության մասին և այն համարելով էական գործոն երկրների զարգացման համար՝ նախագահ Սարգսյանն այդ համատեքստում կարևորել է կանանց դերակատարությունը կայունության ապահովման և հանդուրժողականության մթնոլորտի ձևավորման գործում։ Յուրահատուկ և անգնահատելի համարելով կանանց դերն ընտանիքում՝ նախագահ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է նրանց մեծ ներդրումը երեխայի դաստիարակության, մշակույթի, լեզվի, ազգային արժեքների և ավանդույթների պահպանության հարցերում։ Նախագահը միաժամանակ նշել է, որ փոփոխվող աշխարհում կանանց համար շատ ավելի լայն հնարավորություններ կան՝ ներգրավվելու և ցույց տալու իրենց որակները, մասնակցելու կյանքի տարբեր ոլորտներում որոշումների ընդունմանը, հաջողության հասնելու տարբեր հարթակներում, այդ թվում՝ տեխնոլոգիաների, քաղաքականության և գործարարության ասպարեզներում:
