Երեկ՝ փետրվարի 24-ին, ոստիկանության Վաղարշապատի բաժնի քրեական հետախուզության բաժանմունքի ծառայողները հերթական՝ զենքի հայտնաբերման օպերացիա են իրականացրել Արմավիրի մարզում: Ժամը 21:10-ի սահմաններում քրեական հետախուզության բաժանմունքի ծառայողները, ստացված օպերատիվ տվյալներն իրացնելիս, ապօրինի զենք-զինամթերք պահելու կասկածանքով Էջմիածին քաղաքում կանգնեցրել են Էջմիածին քաղաքի բնակիչ, 27-ամյա Էրիկ Բ.-ի վարած Lada մակնիշի 51 VV 007 համարանիշի ավտոմեքենան: 

Ինչպես հայտնում է Shamshyan.com-ը, երբ քրեական հետախույզները կանգնեցրել են ավտոմեքենան, նրա ուղևոր, Էջմիածին քաղաքի բնակիչ, 25-ամյա Արթուր Ա.-ն, իջնելով ավտոմեքենայից, վերնաշապիկի աջ գրպանից հանել և նետել է իր մոտ եղած ինքնաշեն ատրճանակը և այդ ամենին ականատես են եղել օպերացիայի մասնակիցները:

Ոստիկանները, երբ արձանագրել են այդ ամենը, Արթուր Ա.-ն հայտնել է, որ հայտնաբերված զենքը պատկանում է իրեն, որից հետո վարորդն ու ուղևորը նշված ավտոմեքենայով բերման են ենթարկվել ոստիկանության Վաղարշապատի բաժին, անյուհետև բաց են թողնվել:

Փաստի առիվ ոստիկանության Վաղարշապատի բաժնի հետաքննչական բաժանմունքում նյութեր են նախապատրաստվում:

Հետաքննիչի հանձնարարականով ավտոմեքենան տեղափոխվել է ոստիկանության Վաղարշապատի բաժնի պահպանվող հատուկ տարածք և ընթերականների ներկայությամբ կնիքվել է, իսկ ատրճանակն էլ ուղարկվել է ոստիկանության փորձաքրեագիտական վարչություն: Նշանակվել է դատաձգաբանական փորձաքննություն:
