Հայաստանի տեխնոլոգիական եւ գիտական մի շարք կառույցների ղեկավարներ ուղերձ են հղել ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին եւ Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Արարատ Միրզոյանին։

Նամակի հեղինակները կոչ են անում կառավարությանն ու Ազգային ժողովին աջակցել «Ֆիլիպ Մորրիս»-ին եւ համանման գործունեություն իրականացնող կազմակերպություններին՝ ի նպաստ Հայաստանում գիտահետազոտական, կրթական եւ բարձր տեխնոլոգիական ոլորտի զարգացմանն ու Հայաստանում այլ վերազգային գիտահետազոտական եւ բարձր տեխնոլոգիական կենտրոնների ստեղծմանը։

««Ֆիլիպ Մորրիս»-ի կողմից վերջին տարիներին Հայաստանում իրականացվող ծրագրերն ու նախաձեռնությունները ոչ միայն բացառիկ եւ աննախադեպ են իրենց մասշտաբով եւ արդյունավետությամբ, այլեւ դրանց իրականացումը կարեւոր քայլ է Հայաստանը տարածաշրջանում որպես գիտական, կրթական եւ տեխնոլոգիական ոլորտների առաջատար կենտրոն դիրքավորելու գործընթացում»,- ասված է հայտարարության տեքստում:

Ուղերձում խոսվում է նաեւ «Ֆիլիպ Մորրիս»-ի կողմից տարբեր հիմնարար ուղղություններով (մաթեմատիկա, տվյալագիտություն, նյութագիտություն, քիմիա, կենսաբանություն, ֆիզիկա եւ այլն) իրականացվող ծրագրերի եւ դրանց արդյունքում տարբեր ոլորտներում հետազոտական աշխատանքների թվի ավելացման, ինչպես նաեւ դրանց որակի եւ արդյունավետության բարձրացման մասին։

Նշվում է նաեւ, որ վերոնշյալ նախաձեռնությունների շրջանակում Հայաստանի առաջատար բուհերում ձեւավորվել են տվյալագիտության եւ ճարտարագիտության բնագավառներում կրթական, այդ թվում՝ մագիստրոսական ծրագրեր։

Անդրադարձ է կատարվում նաեւ հայաստանյան գիտահետազոտական հաստատությունների լաբորատորիաների բազմաթիվ արդիական ու թանկարժեք սարքավորումներով վերազինմանը, ինչի շնորհիվ տեղացի գիտնականները, ասպիրանտներն ու ուսանողները հնարավորություն են ստանում իրականացնել իրենց աշխատանքներն առավել արդիական սարքավորումներով:
