Մարտի 7-ին Ն.Ս.Օ.Տ.Տ. Գարեգին Երկրորդ Ծայրագույն Պատրիարք և Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնում հանդիպում ունեցավ ՀՀ ԶՈՒ Հոգևոր Առաջնորդության հոգևոր սպասավորների հետ, որոնք մեկտեղվել էին Մայր Աթոռում եռամսյա գործունեությունն ամփոփելու նպատակով:

Հանդիպմանը Հայոց բանակի հոգևոր առաջնորդ Գերաշնորհ Տ. Վրթանես եպիսկոպոս Աբրահամյանը երախտագիտությամբ անդրադարձավ Հայոց բանակի և Հոգևոր Առաջնորդության հանդեպ Նորին Սրբության կողմից դրսևորվող հոգատար վերաբերմունքին, ապա ներկայացրեց հոգևոր սպասավորների կողմից իրականացվող աշխատանքները։ Առաջնորդության գործունեության վերաբերյալ եռամսյա զեկույցով հանդես եկավ նաև Պաշտպանության բանակի ավագ գնդերեց Գոռ սարկավագ Գյուրջյանը։

Զրույցի ընթացքում Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն իր հայրական օրհնությունն ու պատգամը փոխանցեց բանակի գնդերեցներին և Վրթանես Սրբազանին՝ բարձրորեն գնահատելով նրանց նախանձախնդիր ծառայությունը և զինվորների հետ տարվող աշխատանքը: Նորին Սրբությունը կարևոր նկատեց նման հանդիպումները, որոնք առիթ են ընծայում քննության առնելու կատարված աշխատանքը, միմյանց հետ կիսվելու հովվական փորձառությամբ, նաև միասնաբար փնտրելու առկա մարտահրավերների պատասխաններ և բարձրաձայնվող խնդիրների լուծումներ:

Հայոց Հովվապետը, ընդգծելով բանակում գնդերեցների ծառայության ներդրման կարևորությունը, հաստատեց, որ նրանց առաջնային խնդիրը և նպատակը պետք է լինի բանակում զինվորի համար հոգևոր-բարոյական առողջ միջավայրի կերտումը, միջանձնային հարաբերություններում եղբայրասիրության ամրապնդումը և ազգային, հայրենասիրական ոգու զորացումը։ Այս առումով Վեհափառ Հայրապետը հատկապես շեշտեց զինվոր-գնդերեց հարաբերություններում վստահության մթնոլորտի ձևավորման անհրաժեշտությունը, ինչի շնորհիվ հնարավոր է հաղթահարել առկա արատավոր երևույթները և կանխել դրանց անցանկալի, երբեմն ողբերգական հետևանքները:

Գարեգին Երկրորդ Կաթողիկոսը նաև նկատեց, որ թեպետ բանակում ծառայող հոգևորականների առջև կան ծառացած բազում մարտահրավերներ, յուրաքանչյուր գնդերեցի համար առաջնայինն այն պատասխանատվությունն է, որ նա կրում է իր զորամասում ծառայող յուրաքանչյուր զինվորի համար։ «Ձեր նպատակն ու տեսլականը պետք է լինի զինվորի մոտ ոգու և գիտակցության կերտումը՝ հայրենասիրական ոգու, ընկերասիրության զգացումների և աստվածսիրության», - նշեց Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսը՝ հորդորելով հոգևոր սպասավորներին մեծ պատասխանատվությամբ ու նվիրումով մոտենալ իրենց ծառայությանը։

Զրույցի ընթացքում անդրադարձ կատարվեց նաև ՀՀ ԶՈՒ Հոգևոր Առաջնորդության առջև ծառացած մի շարք խնդիրներին, ծառայության ընթացքում ծագող դժվարություններին և այլ հարցերին:

Վերջում Ամենայն Հայոց Կաթողիկոսն աղոթք բարձրացրեց առ Աստված` հայցելով, որ Տերն օրհնի ու զորացնի Հայոց բանակի զինվորներին և գնդերեցներին իրենց նվիրյալ ծառայության մեջ, խաղաղ պահի հայրենի մեր երկիրը և անառիկ՝ նրա սահմանները։
