Մարտի սկզբին Հայաստանի պետական սիմֆոնիկ նվագախումբը ելույթներ է ունեցել Իսրայելում։ Համերգները կայացել են լեփ-լեցուն դահլիճներում՝ ջերմ մթնոլորտում և բուռն ծափերի ուղեկցությամբ։ Համերգներից մեկում նվագախմբի հետ ելույթ է ունեցել «Գրեմմի» մրցանակակիր‚ աշխարհահռչակ ջութակահար Մաքսիմ Վենգերովը‚ որը Հայաստանի պետական սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի ընթացիկ համերգաշրջանի ռեզիդենտ մենակատարն է։ Իսրայելյան ելույթը Վենգերովի և Հայաստանի պետական սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի 10-րդ համատեղ համերգն էր վերջին 4 ամիսների ընթացքում։ Հայ երաժիշտների և վիրտուոզ ջութակահարի կատարողական ներդաշնակությունն ու բարձր վարպետությունը տպավորեցին ունկնդրին՝ արժանանալով հիացական արձագանքների:

Համերգին‚ որի ընթացքում հնչեցին Բախի‚ Բրուխի, Չայկովսկու, Շորի և Խաչատրյանի ստեղծագործություններից‚ ներկա էին նաև Երուսաղեմի Հայոց Պատրիարքության վարժարանի սաները։ Մաքսիմ Վենգերովը նշեց‚ որ իր համար հաճելի է Հայաստանի պետական սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի հետ համագործակցությունը։ «Ցանկանում եմ նախևառաջ ասել, որ Սերգեյ Սմբատյանն ու իր նվագախումբը հիանալի միություն են: Մեր օրերում, թերևս, հազվադեպ է պատահում, որ սքանչելի նվագախմբի դիրիժորը նաև լինի թիմի լավ առաջնորդ: Մաեստրո Սմբատյանն ապացուցում է տարիների աշխատանքով‚ որ ինքը հիանալի դիրիժոր է։ Բացի ջերմ ընկերությունից‚ բարձր մակարդակի վրա են նաև մեր մասնագիտական կապերը։ Սերգեյ Սմբատյանի յուրօրինակ ձեռագրի շնորհիվ նրա ղեկավարած նվագախումբն ունի այդքան լավ հնչողություն։ Դիրիժորն անհրաժեշտ է ոչ միայն երաժիշտների կատարումները մեկտեղելու համար‚ այլև երևան բերելու սեփական գեղարվեստական ընկալումները և ամենակարևորը՝ երաժշտական հնչողության իր պատկերացումները։ Ես հաճույքով եմ հանդես գալիս Հայաստանի պետական սիմֆոնիկ նվագախմբի հետ‚ մենք շատ սերտորեն ենք կապված միմյանց հետ: Ամեն համատեղ համերգով մեր կապն ավելի է ամրապնդվում։ Վերջերս մենք ունեցանք 8-9 ելույթ Հայաստանում, Եվրոպայում և այժմ՝ Իսրայելում։ Ուրախ եմ այս ստեղծարար գործընկերության և նվագախմբի ռեզիդենտ մենակատարը լինելու համար»‚- ասաց Մաքսիմ Վենգերովը։
