40-ամյա լոնդոնցի Ջոզեֆ Ուոլիսը առողջացել է կորոնավիրուսից: Այժմ նա իրեն լավ է զգում, բայց չի կարող մոռանալ, թե ինչպես էին մահանում սենյակակիցներն իր աչքերի առաջ: Այս մասին պատմում է The Mirror-ը:

Ջոզեֆ հիվանդացել էր ընկերների հետ փաբ գնալուց հետո: Մի ամբողջ շաբաթ նրան տանջում էր ջերմությունն ու հազը, կարծես, օդ չէր հերիքում: Նա դիմանում էր եւ չէր դիմում բժշկի, քանի որ չէր ուզում բեռ դառնալ առանց այդ էլ ծանրաբեռնված առողջապահական համակարգի համար: Փոխարենը, նա մեկուսացել էր մի սենյակում` կնոջն ու երեխաներին չվարակելու համար:

Սակայն նրա առողջությունը վատթարացավ, եւ որոշ ժամանակ անց շտապօգնությունը նրան տեղափոխեց հիվանդանոցի` կորոնավիրուսով իվանդների համար նախատեսված բաժանմունք: Նրա ախտորոշումը հաստատվեց 30 ժամ անց` կորոնավիրուսային վարակ: Ջոզեֆին տեղափոխեցին 6 մահճակալով հիվանդասենյակ: 3 օրվա ընթացքում նա ականատես եղավ, թե ինչպես մահացան նույն հիվանդասենյակում պառկած եւս երկու վարակվածները: «Մի տարեց տղամարդ չէր կարողանում ինքնուրույն շնչել, եւ հետո ես նրան այլեւս չտեսա: Բուժքույրն ինձ պատմեց, որ նա մահացել է: Մեկ այլ հիվանդի տեղափոխեցին վերակենդանացման բաժին, նրա մոտ այլ ախտորոշումներ եւս կային, բայց նա ինչ-որ մեկի պապն էր, հայրը եւ ամուսինը: Նրան կկարոտեն»,- ասաց Ջոզեֆը:
