Ապրիլի 3-ին, ժամը 15-ի սահմաններում, թիվ 1 համալսարանական հիվանդանոց տեղափոխվեց դանակահարված մի տղամարդ։ Տուժողն ի վիճակի չէր հաղորդում կամ բացատրություն տալու։ Բուժհաստատություն մեկնած ոստիկանության Կենտրոնական բաժնի Մարաշի բաժանմունքի օպերատիվ խումբը պարզեց, որ տղամարդուն հիվանդանոց էին տեղափոխել Նորք-Մարաշ թաղամասից։

Նրա տուն մեկնած իրավապահները դեպքի վայրում արնանման հետքեր հայտնաբերեցին։ Տարածքային քննչական բաժնում քրեական գործ հարուցվեց դիտավորությամբ առողջությանը ծանր վնաս պատճառելու հատկանիշներով։ Մարաշի քրեական հետախույզները օպերատիվ միջոցառումներով պարզեցին, որ ժամը 12-ի սահմաններում 51-ամյա տղամարդն ու 28-ամյա մի երիտասարդ կենցաղային հարցերի շուրջ վիճել են։

Այդ ընթացքում երիտասարդը խոհանոցային դանակով հարվածներ էր հասցրել տղամարդու որովայնին ու գլխին։ Կասկածվողին հայտնաբերելու միջոցառումներին զուգահեռ՝ Մարաշի ոստիկանները նրա հետ բացատրական աշխատանք տարան։

Արդյունքում՝ հենց դեպքի օրը երիտասարդը ներկայացավ ոստիկանության Մարաշի բաժանմունք, ապա ներկայացվեց տարածքային քննչական բաժին՝ հարցաքննության։ Նրան մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել։ Հանցագործության գործիք դանակը հայտնաբերելու միջոցառումներն ու հարուցված քրեական գործի նախաքննությունը շարունակվում են։
