Ենթադրվում է, որ կորոնավիրուսի համավարակը գալիք երկու տարվա ընթացքում համաշխարհային տնտեսությանը կզրկի 5 տրիլիոն դոլարից, հետագա տնտեսական աճից: Այս մասին գրում է Bloomberg գործակալությունը՝ նկատելով, որ հիշյալ ֆինանսական կորստի չափը գերազանցում է Ճապոնիայի տարեկան տնտեսական արտադրության ծավալը:

Աղբյուրը մանրամասնում է, որ նման կանխատեսմամբ են հանդես եկել Ուոլ Սթրիթի վերլուծաբանները. կորոնավիրուսի համավարակի հետևանքով երկրների կառավարությունները փակել են բոլոր ձեռնարկությունները, որպեսզի մարդիկ տանը մնան: Դրա հետևանքով աշխարհն ընկղմվել է 1930-ական թվականներից ի վեր խաղաղ ժամանակների ամենամեծ անկման մեջ:

Չնայած, որ կարճաժամկետ անկում է կանխատեսվում, այնուամենայնիվ տնտեսություններից ժամանակ կպահանջվի կորցրածը ետ բերելու համար: Նույնիսկ դրամական և հարկաբյուջետային խթանման աննախադեպ ծավալներով համախառն ներքին արդյունքը դժվար թե մինչև առնվազն 2022 թվականը վերադառնա իր նախաճգնաժամային մակարդակին:

JPMorgan բանկային կառույցը նշել է, որ վիրուսը աշխարհին կարող է արժենալ ոչ պակաս, քան 5,5 տրիլիոն դոլար: Դա նույն ցուցանիշն է, որն արձանագրվել է տաս տարի առաջ համաշխարհային ֆինանսական ճգնաժամի ժամանակ, սակայն այս անգամ վերականգնումը կարող է տնտեսագետների կանխատեսածից ավելի դանդաղ տևել:

Այժմ քաղաքական գործիչների առաջ ծառացել է մեծագույն խնդիր. պետք է բավականաչափ խթանել վերականգնման գործընթացը, միևնույն ժամանակ խուսափելով տնտեսությունները ժամանակից շուտ վերաբացելուց, որպեսզի վիրուսը չվերադառնա:

«Ընտրված հետագիծը շատ կարևոր է: Եթե ձեր հետագիծը դրական է, դա նպաստում է մարդկանց գործնական վստահությանը, որոնք զգում են, որ կարող են գնալ աշխատանքի: Սա շատ կարևոր հանգամանք է տարվա երկրորդ կսի և 2021 թվականի համար»,-ասել է Citigroup Inc կազմակերպության գլխավոր տնտեսագետ Քեթրին Մանը:

Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը մարտի 11-ին նոր կորոնավիրուսը համավարակ էր հայտարարել: Վերջին տվյալներով՝ աշխարհում գրանցվել է վարակման  1 518 783 դեպք, 88 505-ը՝ մահվան ելքով, ապաքինվել է 330 590 մարդ։ Համաճարակի օջախ Չինաստանի սահմաններից դուրս վարակը տարածվել է 209 երկրում:
