Ֆեմինիստները պայքարում են բոլոր կանանց իրավունքների համար։ Եվ նրանք քիչ բանի չեն հասել․ կանայք են որոշում՝ որտեղ աշխատել, ինչպես կառուցել իրենց ճակատագիրը, ինչ հագնել կամ ինչպես ապրել։ Մինչդեռ Սաուդյան Արաբիայում ապրող կանայք դեռ զրկված են շատ բաներից։ Նրանց արգելված է գրեթե ամեն ինչ, իսկ գոնե ինչ որ բան անելու համար նրանք պետք է ամուսնուց համաձայնություն ստանան։

Կանայք պարտավոր են ծածկել մարմինը և անգամ դեմքը։ Փողոցներում հաճախ կարելի է հանդիպել կանանց, որոնց մոտ բաց են միայն աչքերը։ Հագուստը չպետք է լինի «աչք ծակող»։  Եթե աղջկան բռնաբարում է, մեղավոր է միայն նա։ 

Կանայք կարող են մեքենա վարել միայն ամուսնու և հոր թույլատվությամբ։

Կանանց արգելված է երթևեկել հասարակական տրասպորտով։ Նրանց ուղղակի այնտեղ թույլ չեն տա մտնել։ Նա կարող է ոտքով ման գալ, կամ էլ նստել տաքսի նորից միայն ամուսնու և հոր թույլատվությամբ։ 

Կնոջը հետևում է կամ հայրը, կամ ամուսինը, կամ էլ արական սեռի բարեկամներից որևէ մեկը։ Կինը չի կարող բողոքել նրանից, որովհետև առանց նրա համար փակ է ճանապարհը պետական ցանկացած հաստատություն։

Անուսնանալու թույլատրելի տարիքը բացակայում է։ Շատերին դեր փոքրուց ամուսնացնում են։ Մինչ այդ նա համարվում է հոր սեփականությունը, իսկ ամուսնանալուց հետո՝ ամուսնու։ Բացի այդ նրանց արգելված է կանխարգելել հղիությունը, այդ իսկ պատճառով էլ մայրանում են շատ վաղ հասակից։ 

Եթե կինը ամուսնանում է արտասահմանցու հետ, նրան դուրս են անում տնից։

Կանանց թույլատրել են զբաղվել սպորտով միայն 2012 թվականին։ Սակայն, նրանք պետք է ստանան ամուսնու թույլատվությունը։
