Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը դժգոհություն է հայտնել արտգործնախարար Էլմար Մամեդյարովի աշխատանքի վերաբերյալ:

 

«Կարծում եմ, որ մեր դիվանագիտական ​​գործունեությունը կարող էր ավելի արդյունավետ լինել: Ես բազմիցս ասել եմ, որ մեր դիվանագիտությունը պետք է լինի հարձակողական, ոչ թե պասիվ, պաշտպանողական: Չպիտի լինի այնպիսի դիվանագիտություն, որը վախենում է խոսել, որպեսզի ինչ-որ մեկին գոհացնի», - ասել է Ալիևը կառավարության նիստում:

«Ի՞նչ էր անում արտգործնախարարը: Որտե՞ղ էր նա: Մենք աշխատանքի էինք հուլիսի 12-ի դեպքերից հետո: Վարչապետը՝ աշխատավայրում, ես մինչև առավոտ աշխատանքի եմ: Պաշտպանության նախարարը, Գլխավոր շտաբի պետը, ինչպես նաև Պետական ​​անվտանգության ծառայության պետը, Ներքին գործերի նախարարը, Արտաքին հետախուզության ծառայության պետը և Անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղարը աշխատում են մինչև առավոտ: Արտաքին գործերի նախարարին չկարողացա գտնել», - ասել է Ալիևը:
