Լիբանանի մայրաքաղաք Բեյրութի նավահանգստում օգոստոսի 4-ի երեկոյան որոտացած հզոր պայթյունի հետևանքով զոհերի թիվը գերազանցել է 100-ը, վիրավորները 4000-ից ավելի են, գրում է Al Arabiya-ն՝ Լիբանանում Կարմիր խաչի գրասենյակին հղումով:

«Առայժմ ավելի քան 4000 վիրավոր ունենք, ավելի քան հարյուր մարդկային կորուստ: Մեր ջոկատները շարունակում են անհետ կորածների որոնման աշխատանքները»,-ասվում է Կարմիր խաչի հայտարարությունում:

Մինչդեռ երկրի առողջապահության նախարար Համադ Հասանը տեղեկացրել է, որ պաշտոնական Բեյրութն օգնության ակնկալիքով արդեն դիմել է մի քանի երկրի:

Նշվում է, որ պայթյունից 13 ժամ է անցել, սակայն կրակի ծուխը շարունակում է բարձրանալ նավահանգստից:

Օգոստոսի 4-ին հզոր պայթյունը ցնցել է Լիբանանի մայրաքաղաք Բեյրութը: Ականատեսները տեսանկարահանել են կատարվածն ու ներկայացրել ավերածությունները, որոնք տեղի են ունեցել շրջակայքում: Առաջին պայթյունը որոտացել է քաղաքային նավահանգստում, տեղական ժամանակով երեկոյան 18:00-ից հետո: Րոպեներ անց, ըստ որոշ հրապարակումների, ավելի մեծ պայթյուն է որոտացել:

Տեսանկարահանումը ֆիքսել է հարվածային ալիքը, որը ցնցել է մի քանի կիլոմետր հեռավորությամբ գտնվող շինությունները: Լիբանանի առողջապահության նախարարությունը բոլոր հիվանդանոցներին հրահանգել էր պատրաստվել վիրավորների ընդունմանը, իսկ երկրի Առողջապահության նախարարը հեռուստատեսությամբ հայտնել է, որ վիրավորների թիվը շատ մեծ է: Առողջապահության նախարար Համադ Հասանը տեղական ԶԼՄ-ներին հայտնել էր, որ նավահանգստում հրավառության պարագաներ տեղափոխող նավ է պայթել:
