ՀՀ երրորդ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանը սկսում է պատասխանել հանրությանը հետաքրքրող հարցերին, ինչպես խոստացել էր:

Հրապարակվող տեսանյութը և հաջորդաբար ներկայացվելիք հինգ կարճ տեսանյութերը` «Խոսենք անկեղծ. Սերժ Սարգսյանն Ապրիլյան պատերազմի մասին» խորագրով, 2018 թվականից ի վեր Սերժ Սարգսյանի առաջին և անմիջական հաղորդակցությունն են հանրության հետ:

Նախագահ Սարգսյանը բազմիցս նշել է, որ երբ գա ժամանակը, կպատասխանի իրեն ուղղված՝ հրապարակայնորեն հնչեցված այն հարցերին, որոնք մտահոգում են հանրությանը:

Ապրիլյան պատերազմի թեման դրանցից առաջինն է:

Խոսելով ապրիլյան պատերազմում 800 հեկտար կորցնելու մեղադրանքի մասին՝ նախագահը նախ նշել է, որ հայկական կողմը հաղթել է. «Այո, անկասկած սա հաղթանակ էր: Հաղթանակ էր քանակապես գերազանցող, անակնկալ հարձակված և իր զինանոցում եղած գրեթե բոլոր զենքերն օգտագործած հակառակորդի նկատմամբ: Մենք պաշտպանեցինք մեր բոլոր քաղաքներն ու գյուղերը և հաջողությամբ հետ մղեցինք նրանց լայնածավալ հարձակումները: Նրանց նպատակը մի քանի 100 հեկտար հող գրավելը չեր:

Եկեք խոսենք 800 հեկտարի մասին: Պարբվում է, որ ավելի ճշգրիտ չափումների դեպքում այն 400 հեկտար է: Պատերազմից հետո իմ ասածն այն էր, որ նրանք կարողացել են 800 հազար հեկտար անվտանգության գոտուց ետ վերցնել 800-ը»:
