Սիրիացի վարձկան Աբդուլլահը (անունը փոխված է) BBC-ի արաբական ծառայությանը պատմել է, թե ինչպես է Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի կողմից խաբեությամբ բերվել Ադրբեջան` հայերի դեմ կռվելու: «Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ` լրատվամիջոցի հետ զրույցում վարձկանը նշել է, որ իրեն ու բազմաթիվ այլ սիրիացիների խոստացել են 2000 դոլար աշխատավարձ, սակայն չեն զգուշացրել, որ մասնակցելու են մարտական գործողություններին:

«Ես չգիտեի, որ մենք կռվելու ենք». ահա այս խոսքերով է Աբդուլլահը (անունը փոխված է) սկսել իր հարցազրույցը չաթում, որը հեշտ չէր, քանի որ պատասխանները շատ արագ էր ուղարկում՝ գտնվելով ադրբեջանական բանակի զինվորական ժողովում, այնպես էր գրում, որ հրամանատարներից ոչ ոք չտեսներ գրածը»,- ասված է հոդվածում:

Լրագրողը նշում է, որ Աբդուլլահը սիրիացի չվերապատրաստված հարյուրավոր անձանցից մեկն է (17-ից 30 տարեկան), ովքեր սեպտեմբերի 23-ից ուղարկվել են ադրբեջանական ուժերի կողքին կռվելու համար:

«Աբդուլլահը Սիրիայի հյուսիսում բնակվողներից է, որոնք ապրում են աղքատության մեջ և այդ պատճառով համաձայնվել է 2000 դոլար աշխատավարձի դիմաց գնալ Ադրբեջան: Ադբուլլահին ասել էին, որ այդ աշխատավարձի դիմաց պահելու են ռազմական կետերը, սակայն Սիրիայից դուրս գալուց անմիջապես հետո վերցրել են ունեցած գումարը, հեռախոսները, հագուստները, որպեսզի ինքնություն չբացահայտվի: Ավելի ուշ Աբդուլլահը կարողացել է հետ վերցնել հեռախոսն ընտանիքի հետ շփվելու համար, բայց այժմ վստահ չէ, որ նորից կտեսնի նրանց։ Աբդուլլահը նշել է, որ իրենց տեղափոխել են Թուրքիայի Այնթապի օդանավակայան, որտեղից՝ Ստամբուլ, ապա Ադրբեջանական ավիաուղիներով՝ Ադրբեջան ու միանգամից սահման։ Այդ ժամանակ, սակայն, դեռ պատերազմը չէր սկսվել, իսկ իրենք վարժանքներ չէին անցել»,- նշում է հոդվածագիրը:

Վարձկաններին հագցրել են ադրբեջանական բանակի համազգեստ, տվել Կալաշնիկով ինքնաձիգ։

«Երբ ավտոմեքենան կանգնել է, անակնկալ հայտնաբերել են, որ կրակի գծում են և անգամ չգիտեն, թե որտեղ է թշնամին։ Երբ մարտերը սկսեցին, մի երիտասարդ սկսեց լացել և ցանկացավ վերադառնալ, բայց այդ պահին արկ ընկավ և չորս 4 սիրիացի մահացան, 3-ն էլ վիրավորվեցին»,- ասել է Աբդուլլահը:

Աբդուլլահի խոսքով՝ միայն իրենց մոտ 10 սիրիացու մարմին կա, ևս 17-ը վիրավոր են, բայց բժշկական անհրաժեշտ օգնություն չի ցուցաբերվում։ Աբդուլլահը նաև ասել է, որ փորձել են իրենց հրամանատարին տեղյակ պահել, որ ուզում են հետ վերադառնալ, սակայն թույլ չեն տվել՝ սպառնալով երկար ժամանակով ազատազրկել, եթե առաջնագծում չկռվեն։
