Մարտական գործողությունների աշխարհագրությունը ենթադրում է նաեւ գաղտնիության որոշակի նկատառումներ, այդ իսկ պատճառով երբեմն նպատակահարմար չէ խոսել նույնիսկ տարածքային ձեռքբերումների մասին։ Այս մասին ճեպազրույցի ժամանակ ասաց ՊԲ ներկայացուցիչ Սուրեն Սարումյանը` խնդրելով հետևել միայն պաշտոնական տեղեկություններին եւ աղբյուրներին։

Նա նշեց, որ ադրբեջանական կողմը կարողացել է ներթափանցել որոշ ուղղություններում Արցախի բուն տարածք։ `

«Մարտական գործողությունների առանձնահատկություններից մեկն այն է, որ ադրբեջանական կողմը կարողացել է ներթափանցել որոշ ուղղություններում Արցախի բուն տարածք։ Այն հատվածներում, որոնք համարվում են անվտանգության գոտի, մեր նահանջը պայմանավորված է եղել մարտավարական նկատառումներով, այսինքն՝ երբ գործ ունենք հարթավայրային տարածքի հետ, իսկ ավելի նպաստավոր բնագծեր կարելի է զբաղեցնել բարձունքներում, ավելի նպատակահարմար է կատարել խուսավարում եւ զբաղեցնել այդ բարձունքները՝ հակառակորդի գործողություններին առավել արդյունավետ հակազդելու եւ խոցելու համար»,- ասաց Սարումյանը:

Նա վստահեցրեց` Արցախի տարածքում կատարվող գործողությունները հակառակորդին չեն ներվելու,  բանակը կարողանալու է ջարդել հակառակորդին, կարողանալու է զսպել նրա զավթողական նկրտումները եւ կարողանալու է անվերապահորեն կատարել իր խնդիրը։
