Հիշում եմ ինչքան խանդավառությամբ ավարտեցի համալսարանն ու եկա ՊԲ հետագա ծառայությունս շարունակելու, իմ կամքով ու մեծ ցանկությամբ։ Իսկ ավարտելուց մի քանի շաբաթ առաջ ստորագրեցի պայմանագիրը 20 տարի ժամանակով, կուրսում հաշված մարդիկ էինք որ ստորագրեցինք.... Ստորագրեցինք` չմտածելով, որ մեզ վաղուց ծախել են, մենք մեր մահապատիժն ենք ստորագրում, որ ոմանք մեր կյանքի հաշվին աթոռի ձեռք գցեն, իսկ մենք մեր հողերը, արյունով պահած հողերը գցենք թշնամու երախը, ոչ թե գցենք այլ նվիրենք, տանք, մի բան էլ ավել.... Ստորագրեցինք` չիմանալով, որ մեր փոխարեն մեր ճակատագրերը որոշվածա, որոշելա մեկը` ում համար մարդկային կյանքը չունի արժեք, չունեն արժեք մարտում հերոսաբար ընկած մեր տղերքը, մեր սպաներն ու զինվորները։ Առաջ մեղադրում էի նրանց ովքեր իմ աչքի առաջ թողեցին զենքն ու փախան, հայհոյեցին էս ծախված պետությունը, բանակն ու մի քանիսին...... Հիմա չեմ մեղադրում, միևնույննա հիմա փախնողին էլ են նույն հերոսի կոչմանն արժանացնում, մինչև վերջ պայքարողին էլ, որովհետև չկա մի բան որ ծախված չլինի մեր դարավոր թշնամուն, չմտածեք թե թուրքի մասինա խոսքը, մեր դարավոր թշնամին մենք ենք, մենք ու մեր մեջ ու մեր շարքերում ապրող պիղծ ու ինքնություն չունեցող "հայ" տականքները.... Ես` որ երբևիցէ ոչ մի անգամ չեմ կոտրվել, հիմա կոտրված եմ, ոնց չկոտրվես, երբ քո աչքի առաջ անմեղ մարդիկ են կոտորվում, իսկ մի քանի մետր էն կողմ, մի քանիսն էլի ստամոքսի մասին են մտածում, ոնց չկոտրվես, երբ էն ինչի մեջ եղել ես, ոչ թե եղելա պատերազմ, այլ ուղղակի մսաղաց, ոնց չկոտրվես...... Ինչքան կուրսեցիներ կորցրեցի, ովքեր դեռ էնքան բան ունեին էս կյանքում անելու ու արարելու, քանի անգամ հրաշքով փրկվեցի ու ամեն անգամ էդ անիծված ինքնաթիռի ձայնով ու արկերի պայթյունով մի ամբողջ կյանք եկավ առաջս, քանի մարտական ընկեր կորցրեցի, քանիսի անշնչացած մարմինները տեսա ու տեղափոխեցի, հիշելիս չեմ կարողանում զսպեմ արցունքներս.... Բայց չեմ ուզում մտածեք որ մենք չենք հաղթել, չեմ ուզում մտածեք որ տանուլ ենք տվել, մենք` էս ծախված երկրում պատվով ենք արել մեր ամեն քայլը, մենք ամուր ենք կանգմած եղել, բայց ինչ անեինք եթե անկախ մեր արած գործերից, մեր փոխարեն ամեն ինչ որոշվածա եղել..... Զոհված, կռվում պատվով ընկած տղերքի ծնողներ, գիտեմ, ձեր վիշտը ոչնչով չի լինի փարատել, ոչ հետմահու մարտական խաչերով, ոչ էլ ուրիշ այն ամենով ինչն ուղղակի ձեր որդիները, ձեր տղերքը չեն, բայց ամեն անգամ, ամեն վարկյան երբ նայեք ձեր որդիների լույս նկարներին, հիշեք` իրենք ընկան որ չտեսնեն էս խայտառակությունը, հպարտ եղեք որ դուք հերոս տղերք եք լույս աշխարհ բերել ու տվել մեր մնացած մի բուռ հողին, իրենց պահած մի բուռ հողին։ Դուք ծնողներ եք, եղբայրներ, ընկերներ, կանայք ու քույրեր եք ծախված պետությունում ծնկի չեկող տղերքի....
