 Ինչպես հայտնի է թափոնների տեսակավորման գործընթացի հարցը քաղաքակիրթ աշխարհում վաղուց լուծվել է: Հայաստանում ևս երկար տարիներ այն քննարկման թեմա է եղել: Նույնիսկ ակտիվիստների խմբեր են ձևավորվել և մայրաքաղաքի տաբեր թաղամասերում կազմակերպում են պլաստկե շշերի, թղթի թափոնների հավաքագրում:

Վերջին շրջանում Երևանի քաղաքապետարանը աղբի տեսակավորման նպատակով մայրաքաղաքի վարչական շրջաններում աղբամաններ է տեղադրել, որպեսզի երևանցիները աղբը աղբաման նետելուց առաջ տեսակավորեն:

Երևանի քաղաքապետարանի կանաչապատում և շրջակա միջավայրի պահպանություն կազմակերպության թափոնների տեսակավորման վարչության պետ Հայկ Հովհաննիսյանը Orer.am-ի հետ զրույցում նշեց, որ պիլոտային ծրագրով որոշում է կայացվել մայրաքաղաքի մեկ-երկու վարչական շրջաններում նման աղբամաններ տեղադրել, որպեսզի ուսումնասիրություն իրականացվի, թե լոգիստիկ առումով ինչպես պետք է կազմակերպվի թափոնների հեռացման գործընթացը:

 «Այս պահին փաստացի ունենք 60 տեսակավորման կետ, որոնք կավելանան և կընդգրկեն բոլոր վարչական շրջանները: Մինչև փետրվար ամսվա վերջ մենք կունենանք 135 կետ, որից հետո կսկսենք լայնածավալ իրազեկման և մոնիթորինգային աշխատանքներ իրականացնել: Բնակիչները կկարողանան թուղթը, պլաստիկը և ապակին տանը տեսակավորել, մոտեցնել նշված հասցեներում տեղադրված թափոնամաններ և այդտեղ նետել դրանք: Այս ծրագրիը պետական մակարդակով, ճիշտ է, նոր ենք սկսել, բայց արդեն մի քանի տարի է հասարակական կազմակերպությունները բավականին լուրջ աշխատանք են տարել և մարդիկ այս ընթացքում հասցրել են իրազեկվել: Այսինքն, այդ մշակույթը կրողները և բնապահպանական խնդիրներով մտահոգված անձինք արդեն իսկ համախմբվել էին այս խնդրի շուրջ: Այնպես որ մեր համատեղ աշխատանքը, կարծում եմ էլ՛ ավելի արդյունավետ կլինի»,- ասաց Հ. Հովհաննիսյանը:

Նա կարևորում է նաև էկոկրթությունը, քանի որ դրա արդյունքում մարդիկ ավելի լավ են պատկերացնում, թե չքայքայվող նյութերը՝ պլաստիկը, ապակին հայտնվելով աղբավայրում ինչքան վնաս են հասցնում բնությանը: Հովհաննիսյանը համոզված է, որ էկոկրթությունը պետք է սկսել մանկապարտեզից, որպեսզի փոքր տարիքից ձևավորվի բնության պահպանության հանդեպ պատասխանատվությունը և միջավայրը դառնա ավելի մաքուր և անվտանգ:
