Ռումինիայում Ուղղափառ եկեղեցին հայտնվել է սկանդալի կիզակետում, երբ մկրտության արարողությունից հետո սրտի կաթվածի հետևանքով 6 շաբաթական երեխա է մահացել, հայտնում է բրիտանական The Guardian օրաթերթը:

Վեց շաբաթական երեխան սրտի կանգ է ունեցել երկուշաբթի օրը և շտապ տեղափոխվել է հիվանդանոց, սակայն մի քանի ժամ անց մահացել է: Դիահերձման արդյունքում թոքերում հեղուկ է հայտնաբերվել: Դատախազները քահանայի դեմ սպանության հարցով հետաքննություն են սկսել՝ հյուսիսարևելյան Սուչեավա քաղաքում:

Աղմկահարույց միջադեպից հետո մկրտւթյան ծիսակարգում փոփոխություն կատարելու վերաբերյալ առցանց ստորագրահավաք է սկսվել, որի տակ, մինչև հինգշաբթի երեկո, ստորագրել է ավելի քան 56 հազար մարդ:
