Армения не применяла свои "Искандеры" в ходе конфликта в Нагорном Карабахе, весь боезапас ракет находился на складах вооруженных сил страны, сообщили в четверг журналистам в Минобороны РФ, комментирую высказывания премьер-министра Армении Никола Пашиняна.

В Минобороны заявили, что "с недоумением и удивлением" ознакомилось с заявлением Пашиняна о том, что используемые в Нагорном Карабахе вооруженными силами Армении ракеты комплексов "Искандер" "не взорвались или взорвались лишь на 10%".

"По имеющимся у нас объективным и достоверным сведениям, подтвержденным в том числе системой объективного контроля, ни один из ракетных комплексов данного типа в ходе конфликта в Нагорном Карабахе не применялся. Весь боезапас ракет находится на складах вооруженных сил Республики Армения", - заявили в ведомстве.

"Судя по всему, премьер-министра Республики Армения господина Никола Пашиняна ввели в заблуждение, вследствие чего он использовал неточную информацию", - говорится в сообщении.

"Оперативно-тактический ракетный комплекс 9К720-Э ("Искандер-Э") испытывался и многократно успешно применялся в боевых условиях в Сирийской Арабской Республике против международных террористических группировок. Это дает нам полное основание утверждать, что производимый в России ракетный комплекс 9К720-Э "Искандер-Э" является лучшим в мире в своем классе", - говорится в сообщении.
