Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը փրփուրներից է կախվում։ Զինված ուժերի հրամանատարական կազմի հայտնի հայտարարությունից հետո վերջինս գրեթե զրկվել է մանևրելու հնարավորությունից։ Նիկոլի վիճակն էլ ավելի է ծանրացել իր իսկ կողմից՝ ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետ Օնիկ Գասպարյանին պաշտոնանկ անելու որոշում կայացնելուց հետո։ Նիկոլի այդ շտապողականությունն ըստ էության ցայտնոտային վիճակ է ստեղծել ոչ թե Օնիկ Գասպարյանի, այլ հենց իր՝ Նիկոլի, համար։ Վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող անձը լավ գիտի, որ Օ. Գասպարյանը վաղն էլ, մյուս օրն էլ շարունակելու է լինել զորքերի հրամանատար։ Իս ահա իր ժամանակն այսօր սպառվում է և նա պետք է որոշում կայացնի՝ հրաժարական, թե՞ հերթական հակասահմանադրական ու հակապետական քայլ։

Իմ տեղեկություններով, ՀՀ որոշ բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների, այդ թվում նաև երկրի նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանին, Նիկոլը խոստացել է այսօր հրաժարական տալ և արտահերթ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններ նշանակել։ Բնականաբար, նրա խոսքերին որևէ մեկը չի հավատում։ Ավելի արժանահավատ երևալու համար նա Էդմոն Մարուքյանի շուրթերով բարձրաձայնել է իր պայմանը։ Այն է՝ ես ձեռք եմ քաշում Օնիկ Գասպարյանից ու Բանակից, դուք էլ խոստացեք, որ իմ հրաժարականից հետո վարչապետի այլ թեկնածու չեք առաջադրի ու թույլ կտաք, որպեսզի խորհրդարանն օրենքի ուժով ցրվի։ Բայց դա Նիկոլի հաջորդ քաղաքական սխալն էր. այդկերպ նա ցույց տվեց հանրությանը, որ չի վստահում իր իսկ ֆրակցիային և այլ վարչապետ չընտրելու երաշխիքներ է խնդրում խորհրդարանական ընդդիմությունից։ Ասել է թե՝ Նիկոլը քաղաքական դաշտում անտեր է մնացել։

Ի՞նչ է մնում այս իրավիճակում Նիկոլին։ Թերևս պատասխանն ակնհայտ է՝ փորձելու է կրկին խաբել։ Բայց ու՞մ։ Եվ ամենակարևորը ինչպե՞ս։ Նրա հույսը, թերևս, ԱԱԾ-ն ու Ոստիկանությունն են։ Բայց, վստահեցնում եմ՝ այդ ռեսուրսն էլ է սպառվելու վրա։ Ժամանակն իր ընթացքի մեջ է, կանգ չի առնում՝ ամեն վայրկյան հաշվելով դավաճան իշխանության քաղաքական կյանքի վերջին ժամերը։
