«2018 թվականին ասաց, որ դիմում է գրել, պետք է Նոյեմբերյանից տեղափոխվի Արցախ ծառայությունը շարունակի։ Մեկնեց Հադրութ»,- պատմում է Արցախյան պատերազմում զոհված ավագ լեյտենանտ Անդրանիկ Խաչատրյանի մայրը՝ Մարինե Խաչատրյանը։

2020 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 27-ին, երբ սկսվեց Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախի դեմ սանձազերծված պատերազմը, Անդրանիկի եղբայրը՝ Արսենը կամավոր գնացել է եղբոր մոտ․ «Շատ էր ուրախացել, որ ինձ տեսավ, բայց դե էլ ոչինչ չէր կարող անել, չէր ցանկանա, որ այնտեղ լինեի։ Անակնկալ էր իր համար, որ այդ ծանր պահին եղբայրը հայտնվել է իր կողքին»։

Եղբոր խոսքով՝ իրենք կռվել են Հադրութում, այնուհետև եղել են Ջրականում և Շուշիում։ Անդրանիկը վիրավորումը ստացել է Շուշիում, զոհվել է շտապ օգնության մեքենայում, որը թիրախավորվել է թշնամու կողմից։

Անդրանիկ Խաչատրյանը ծնվել է 1993 թվականի մարտի 19-ին։ Հայրենիքի պաշտպանության համար մղվող մարտերում զոհվել է 2020 թվականի նոյեմբերի 7-ին Շուշի-Ստեփանակերտ ճանապարհին։
