Հայաստանի անկախացումից հետո, տեղի ունեցած բոլոր համապետական ընտրություններն ունեցել են մեկ ընդհանուր առանձնահատկություն: Դա արտահայտվել է հետևյալում՝ հայ հասարակությունը քվե է տվել որևէ քաղաքական ուժի պայմանավորված դրա առաջնորդի անձով: Այսինքն, մեծ հաշվով, ընտրությունները եղել են անձերով պայմանավորված, այլ ոչ թե ծրագրերով և գաղափարախոսությամբ: Սխալ չենք լինի, եթե նշենք, որ ընտրողների ճնշող մեծամասնությունը երբևէ չի էլ կարդում նախընտրական ծրագրերը, կամ ուսումնասիրում նախընտրելի ուժի գաղափարական հենքը: Դա է պատճառներից նաև մեկը, որ հետընտրական շրջանում որևէ քաղաքական ուժից մեծ հիասթափություն է առաջանում:

Նույն կոտրած տաշտակի առաջ կանգնեցինք 2018թ.-ի ընտրություններից հետո, երբ ժողովուրդը քվեարկեց իշխող ուժի օգտին բացառապես Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի անձով պայմանավորված: Եվ քիչ մարդիկ հարց տվեցին իրենք իրենց՝ ինչո՞ւ են քվեարկում մի ուժի օգտին, որը ոչ գաղափարախոսություն ունի, ոչ հստակ ծրագիր, իսկ նախընտրական ցուցակում ներառված թեկնածուների մեծ մասը, մեղմ ասած, անհայտ ու կասկածելի անցյալով մարդիկ էին: Սա էր պատճառը, որ հիմա հասարակությունը տարակուսում է, զարմանում ու զայրանում է, երբ իմքայլական որևէ պատգամավոր հակահայկական հայտարարություններ է անում, հակապետական գործունեություն է ծավալում:

Պատկերն ակներև է, խորությամբ քննարկելու անհրաժեշտություն չկա: Ինչևէ, հերթական ընտրությունների նախաշեմին ենք ու շատ կարևոր է ձևավորել այնպիսի հանրային գիտակցություն, որ անհրաժեշտ է որևէ քաղաքական ուժի քվե տալուց առաջ, գոնե մինիմալ չափով ուսումնասիրել նրա կողմից առաջարկվող ծրագրերը, դավանած արժեքներն ու գաղափարախոսությունը: Հակառակ դեպքում, հերթական մարդ-կուսակցությանը ձայն տալով և իշխանության բերելով, Հայաստանը նորանոր մարտահրավերների առաջ է կանգնելու: Դասական առումով ընտրություններին հայտ ներակայացրած քաղաքական ուժերից յուրաքանչյուրը պետք է ունենա և հանրությանը ներկայացնի իր դեմքը՝ գաղափարական հենքը: Հայաստանի քաղաքական ներկապնակը շատ գունեղ է, կողմնորոշվելը՝ դժվար: Սակայն շատ կարևոր նրբերանգ կա՝ իշխանությունները անդեմ են, չեն առաջնորդվում ազգային շահերով և իղձերով, չեն քարոզում ավանդական և քրիստոնեական արժեքներ: Սա այլևս ապացուցելու կարիք չկա:

Իշխանությունների գաղափարազուրկ հենքի ֆոնին առանձնանում է, դիցուք, Խաչիկ Ասրյանի ղեկավարած «Հայոց Արծիվներ. Միասնական Հայաստան» կուսակցությունը, որը իշխանությունների հակապատկերն է այն իմաստով, որ իր ստեղծման օրվանից հետևողականորեն առաջնորդվում, քարոզում և ամրացնում է հայ ժողովրդի գոյատևման հենասյուներ համարվող արժեքները՝ բանակը, եկեղեցին, ընտանիքը: Այլ ուժերի առաջիկայում ևս կանդրադառնանք: Այդուհանդերձ՝ հետպատերազմական ժամանակահատվածում Հայաստանի և Արցախի մեջքը ուղղելու և առաջ նայելու համար, անհրաժեշտ է նաև վերադառնալ հայապահպանության և պետականաշինության մեր ավանդական արժեքներին, հակառակ դեպքում գլոբալացվող աշխարհում դառնում ենք ոչ մրցունակ՝ հայ ժողովրդի առաջ ծառացած մարտահրավերներին դիմագրավելու թույլ իմունիտետով:
