Европейское агентство лекарственных средств заявило о связи между вакциной AstraZeneca и образованием тромбов

Глава департамента Европейского агентства лекарственных средств (EMA) сообщил, что в ближайшие часы регулятор официально объявит о существовании связи между вакциной AstraZeneca и образованием тромбов.

«Теперь все труднее говорить об отсутствии причинно-следственной связи между вакциной AstraZeneca и редкими случаями тромбозов, связанных с низким количеством тромбоцитов. Очевидно, она существует»,  — цитирует представителя ЕМА издание Le Figaro.

Как сообщает Medportal.ru, заместитель министра здравоохранения Италии Пьерпаоло Силери сообщил, что европейский регулятор может ввести ограничения на применение вакцины для определенных возрастных категорий. Однако, по его словам, пока что подобных случаев среди миллионов привитых очень мало и соотношение риска и пользы от вакцинации остается положительным.

Напомним, что ряд стран Европы временно приостановили вакцинацию препаратом британо-шведской компании AstraZeneca из-за серии сообщений о возможных тромбоэмболических осложнениях у привитых. Первые сообщения поступили из Австрии, где один пациент скончался спустя десять дней после вакцинации, а другой был срочно госпитализирован с тромбоэмболией легочной артерии.

ЕМА после проведения расследования объявила, что вакцина безопасна и эффективна, а преимущества от ее использования перевешивают риски. Сама AstraZeneca обновила информацию, указанную в инструкции по применению вакцины от коронавируса, указав на потенциальные осложнения. 18 марта Управление по контролю лекарственных средств и изделий медицинского назначения Великобритании (MHRA) опровергло информацию о том, что вакцина вызвала такую реакцию, отметив, что ведущие эксперты не нашли никаких доказательств этой связи.

В свою очередь, Всемирная организация здравоохранения заявила о необходимости продолжать вакцинацию препаратом AstraZeneca, отметив, что венозная тромбоэмболия является одним из самых распространенных сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний мире.
