Թայվանի տրանսպորտի վարչության ղեկավար Լին Ցզյալունն ապրիլի 20-ին պաշտոնաթող կլինի՝ ամսվա սկզբին 49 մարդու կյանք խլած գնացքի վթարից հետո: Համապատասխան հրամանագիրը հինգշաբթի ստորագրել է կղզու կառավարության նախագահ Սու Չժեենչանը, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

Ինչպես պարզաբանել է Թայվանի կենտրոնական լրատվական գործակալությունը, ապրիլի 20-ին պաշտոնյան կլքի իր պաշտոնը: Նա ինքը հրաժարական տալու պատրաստակամություն էր հայտնել ողբերգությունից անմիջապես հետո, սակայն այն հաստատվել էր միայն հիմա, երբ ավարտվեցին աղետի բոլոր հետեւանքների վերացումը եւ հետաքննությունը: Հաջորդ նախարարի անունը դեռ հայտնի չէ:
