Թուրքիայում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունն ու հյուպատոսությունները հայտարարել են, որ երկու օրով փակվելու են ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման կապակցությամբ:

«Սպիտակ տան հայտարարությունից հետո կարող են ցույցեր կամ բողոքի ակցիաներ տեղի ունենալ։ Որպես նախազգուշական միջոց՝ Անկարայում ԱՄՆ դեսպանատունը, Ստամբուլում ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավոր հյուպատոսությունը, Ադանայում ԱՄՆ-ի հյուպատոսությունը և Իզմիրում ԱՄՆ-ի հյուպատոսական գործակալությունը ԱՄՆ-ի քաղաքացիների ամենօրյա սպասարկման և վիզայի աջակցության համար փակ կլինեն ապրիլի 26-ին և ապրիլի 27-ին», - ասված է մամուլի հաղորդագրությունում:
