Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը շնորհակալական նամակներ է հղել ամերիկահայ անվանի բժիշկ, Կալիֆոռնիայի համալսարանի Դեյվիդ Գեֆենի անվան բժշկական կենտրոնի համաղեկավար, Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին պատմող հոլիվուդյան «Խոստումը» ֆիլմի պրոդյուսեր Էրիկ Էսրաիլյանին, ամերիկահայ հեռուստաաստղ Քիմ Քարդաշյաին և հայտնի երգչուհի Շերելին Սարգսյանին՝ երախտագիտություն հայտնելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման գործում նրանց ներդրած ավանդի համար:

Էրիկ Էսրաիլյանին հղած նամակում նախագահ Սարգսյանը մասնավորապես նշել է նաև «Խոստումը» ֆիլմի ազդեցության մասին. «Ցանկանում եմ հիշատակել Քըրք Քըրքորյանի նվիրվածությունը, նրա պարտքի և հավատի զգացումը, որոնք օգնեցին իրականացնել մի շարք նախագծեր և ծրագրեր, այդ թվում ՝ «Խոստումը» ֆիլմի նկարահանումը: Ֆիլմը բարձր գնահատականների արժանացավ և մեծ ազդեցություն ունեցավ Հայոց ցեղասպանության մասին իրազեկվածության բարձրացման գործում: Անկասկած, այստեղ կարևոր դեր խաղաց Քըրքի հսկայական ազդեցությունը:

Միասին մենք պետք է մտածենք՝ ինչպես ըստ արժանվույն գնահատենք Քըրքի հսկայական ժառանգությանը և կապիտալիզացնենք նրա անկեղծ հայրենասիրությունը: Շնորհակալություն ձեր ջանքերի և Խոստումը պահելու համար»:

Քիմ Քարդաշյանին ուղղված նամակում նախագահ Սարգսյանը մասնավորապես նշել է. «Ձեր և Ձեր ընտանիքի ազդեցությունը հսկայական է ոչ միայն ԱՄՆ-ում, այլև ողջ աշխարհում, և հրաշալի էր տեսնել, թե ինչպես Ձեր գործունեությամբ ու քայլերով կարողացաք կարևոր դերակատարում ունենալ Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման գործում: Շնորհակալ եմ, անխոնջ ջանքերի, անկեղծ նվիրումի և հանձնառության համար»:

Շերելին Սարգսյանին ուղղված նամակում նախագահ Սարգսյանն ընդգծել է, որ երգչուհին մշտապես եղել է ցեղասպանության ժխտման դեմ պայքարող ակնառու գործիչների շարքերում. «Ձեր ազդեցությունը կարևոր դերակատարում ունեցավ Հայոց ցեղասպանության միջազգային ճանաչման գործում: Երբ միավորում ենք ջանքերն ու մեր տեսլականը փոխակերպում ենք իրական ու չափելի գործողությունների, արդյունքը միշտ շոշափելի է լինում: Հուսով եմ՝ նորից տեսնել Ձեզ Հայաստանում, ինչպես տարիներ առաջ»:
