Այս շաբաթ Բրազիլիայի Սան Պաոլո նահանգում մի արտասովոր դեպք գրանցվեց։ Մի հանցագործ՝ գողոնը ձեռքին, ցանկանում էր ճողոպրել հանցանքի վայրից, սակայն մոտակայքում գտնվող ոստիկանը, ով վաղուց արդեն ավարտել էր իր աշխատանքը, թույլ չտվեց նրան անել դա։ 3 ամսական երեխան տապալվեց ցեմենտե գետնին, երբ նրա ոստիկան հայրիկը ձեռքից գցեց նրան՝ հրացանը հանելու և հանցագործին կրակելու համար։ Մեկ ուրիշը նրա փոխարեն գուցե նախընտրեր փախչել երեխայի հետ, սակայն նա որոշեց վտանգավոր պայքարի մեջ մտնել։ Ավելի ճիշտ, ամեն ինչ այնքան արագ կատարվեց, որ որոշելու ժամանակ էլ չկար։
Փողոցի տեսախցիկներն արձանագրել են, թե ինչպես է սև թիկնապայուսակով ու շորտով հանցագործը անցնում ծառայությունից դուրս գտնվող ոստիկանի ու նրա հարազատների մոտով։ Ապա այդ հանցագործը վերադարձավ ոստիկանի մոտ ու սպառնաց նրան իր պայուսակում պահված ատրճանակով։ Այդ պահին ոստիկանը փորձեց հանել իր սեփական ատրճանակը, իսկ հանցագործը բռնեց նրա ձեռքը՝ ցանկանալով խոչընդոտել ոստիկանի հետագա գործողությունները, սակայն ոստիկանն ավելի ուժեղ գտնվեց ու ատրճանակը հանեց գրպանից։ Հենց այդ ընթացքում էլ երեխան գետնին ընկավ։ Բարեբախտաբար, ոստիկանը միայնակ չէր կանգնած փողոցում։ Նրա կինն ու աները ևս իր կողքին էին։ Աներն արագ կողմնորոշվեց ու անմիջապես գետնից բարձրացրեց հոնգուր-հոնգուր արտասվող բալիկին՝ վազելով ապահով տեղ հրաձգությունից պաշտպանվելու համար։ Ոստիկանը կրակեց հանցագործի ուղղությամբ, մինչ վերջինս փախչում էր դեպքի վայրից։ Ժամեր անց հանցագործը կեղծ անվան տակ հիվանդանոց դիմեց՝ հրազենային վնասվածքներով։ Պարզվեց, որ նա գող և թմրավաճառ է։ Ոստիկանը հետագայում ճանաչեց նրան։
