Արցախյան պատերազմում ցավալի պարտությունից հետո Հայաստանում երկրաչափական պրոգրեսիայով աճում է փրկիչների գլխաքանակը։ Վերջիններս որոշել են փրկել հայ ժողովրդին՝ ի հեճուկս կամ հենց ժողովրդի ինադու։
Նորահայտ ու նորածիլ փրկիչներին կարծես չի էլ հուզում, որ «փրկվողը» չի ճանաչում իրենց, չգիտե իրենց անցյալն ու ներկան․ որոշել են՝ պիտի փրկեն, եւ վերջ։
Նման մի փրկիչ էլ քաղաքական հարյուրին մոտ կուսակցությունների շարքը տակավին վերջերս լրացրած «Միացյալ Հայաստան» կուսակցության ղեկավար Երվանդ Թարվերդյանն է։
Դեռ մի քանի ամիս առաջ «Սարգիս Կարոլինա» ընկերության տնօրեն Թարվերդյանը ազգին «փրկում» էր ռուսական օղիներով՝ մի-մի թասով մեղմելով մարդկանց հոգու կսկիծներն ու ցավերը, բայց, թերեւս, ըմբռնեց, որ օղին հարմար բալասան չէ ազգի բոլոր դարդուցավերի դեմ, որոշեց անձամբ յուր համեստ անձը նվիրել փրկության գործին։
Կուսակցապետը նույնիսկ հանդիպումներ է ունենում, օրերս հանդիպել էր երիտասարդների, ու, ոչ ավել, ոչ պակաս, հայտարարել, թե հենց իրեն է տեսնում որպես ապագա վարչապետ: «Պետք է լինի մարդ, ում հասարակությունը սիրում եւ հավատում է եւ կկարողանա շատ մեծ բեռ տանել: Միանշանակ ինձ տեսնում եմ վարչապետի պաշտոնում եւ ուրիշ ոչ մեկին չեմ տեսնում այդ պաշտոնում»,- հանդիպումից հընթացս ոգեւորվել էր Երվանդ Թարվերդյանը։ Թե որ հասարակությունն է ճանաչում նրան, սիրում եւ հավատում, նա առայժմ չի բացահայտում:
Թարվերդյանը նույնիսկ գիտի՝ երիտասարդներն են հաղթելու ընտրություններում, բայց համառորեն չի ասում, թե ինչպես, ինչ գաղափարներով, եւ, ամենակարեւորը, ում հետ։ «Միասնական Հայաստանը» նոր կուսակցություն է, երեւի դեռ չի հասցրել կողմնորոշվել, թե ինչ գաղափարներ է կրում, ա՞ջ է, ձա՞խ է, պահպանողակա՞ն, թե՞ ազատական, միգուցե՝ անարխի՞ստ։
Երվանդ Թարվերդյանն այդպես էլ չի բացահայտում, թե որ բեւեռում է լինելու, իշխանությա՞ն, թե՞ ընդդիմության մեջ է տեսնում իրեն ու իր ղեկավարած կուսակցությանը։
Մի ցնցող միտք, սակայն, նա արդեն հասցրել է երկնել․ «Ես շատ եմ հարգում բոլոր նախագահներին, նրանք միշտ նախագահ են, սակայն Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանն առաջարկել էր համախմբել եւ պայքարել ներկայիս իշխանության դեմ, այսինքն, ավելի բեւեռացնել հասարակությանը»։
