«Ղարաբաղ» կոմիտեի անդամ Աշոտ Մանուչարյանը լրագրողներին այսօր ասաց, որ Ուկրաինայի, Վրաստանի և Մոլդովայի քաղաքական զարգացումները միայն գերտերությունների շահերի բախման արդյունք են,- հայտնում է Orer.am-ը: Ըստ Մանուչարյանի՝ այնպես չէ, որ մեծ երկրների համար էական է օգնել նրանց կամ նրանց խնդիրները լուծել: «Երրորդ երկիրը դառնում է մի փայտ, որով միմյանց հարվածում են գերտերությունները»,- նշում է բանախոսը և հավելում, որ եթե մենք ուզում ենք լինել այդ փայտի դերում, մենք էլ կունենանք նման զարգացումներ: Ա.Մանուչարյանի կարծիքով՝ մեր պատմական զգուշավորությունը մեզ թույլ չի տալիս կիրառել նման շատ միակողմանի կեցվածք: Գործչի պնդմամբ՝ դա է պատճառը, որ մեզ չեն ներքաշում ուղիղ պատերազմական գործողությունեերի մեջ:
Աշոտ Մանուչարյանը ուշագրավ միտք է հայտնում առ այն, որ Հայաստանը գնում է ԵՏՄ՝ ԱՄՆ-ի պահանջով: «Բանն այն է, որ Հայաստանը գտնվում է Միացյալ Նահանգների վերահսկողության տակ, բայց մի պայման կա՝ Ռուսաստանը իր մոտ տարածքներում ավելի մեծ հզորություն ունի և կարող է որոշակի քայլեր անել»,- ընդգծում է նա: Մանուչարյանի կարծիքով՝ Ուկրաինայի պես լարում մեր երկրում չի կարող լինել, քանի որ Ռուսաստանը բավարար ներուժ ունի այս երկրում, որպեսզի ցանկացած իշխանության սրբի և դնի իր ուզած ղեկավարին: Սակայն Աշոտ Մանուչարյանը նաև ասում է. «Հայաստանի ողջ պետական համակարգը դարձել է այսօր ամերիկյան: Եթե ԱՄՆ-ն թույլ չտար, որ Հայաստանը գնար ԵՏՄ, ապա Ռուսաստանը իր մարդկանց այստեղ կակտիվացներ ու ամերիկյան բուրգը կփլվեր: ԱՄՆ-ն չի ուզում բուրգը փլվի, դրա համար թույլ տվեցին, որ մերոնք ստորագրեն համաձայնագիրը»:
Մանուչարյանը ասում է, որ Ռուսաստանը գտնվում է կոշտ բախման մեջ Արևմուտքի հետ: ԱՄՆ-ը կարողացավ կոնսոլիդացնել Արևմուտքը: Ըստ բանախոսի՝ սա Արևմուտքի վերջին կոնսոլիդացիան է, և այլևս Արևմուտքը չի կոնսոլիդացվելու Միացյալ Նահանգների կողմից: Մանուչարյանը նկատում է, որ Եվրոպայում մեծ դիմակայության ալիք է սկսվում՝ Ամերիկային չենթարկվելու ցանկությամբ: Իսկ Ռուսաստանը փորձում է կոնսոլիդացնել այն տարածքները, որոնք ԱՄՆ-ին չի հաջողվել ներթափանցել: Մանուչարյանը հիշեցնում է, որ քսան տարի առաջ Ռուսաստանը ընդունել է իր պարտությունը «սառը պատերազմում» և պայմանավորվածություն հաստատել ՆԱՏՕ-ի զորքերը իր սահմանին չմոտենալու շուրջ: Միացյալ Նահանգները չի կատարում այդ պայմանավորվածությունները: «Ղարաբաղ» կոմիտեի անդամը գտնում է, որ հենց այդ պատճառով է Ռուսաստանը այսօր հետխորհրդային երկրներին ներգրավում նոր ինտեգրացիոն գործընթացի մեջ:
