«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի լավատեղյակ աղբյուրները փոխանցում են, որ իշխանությունը տեւական ժամանակ քննարկել է, թե ինչ կարող է լինել հունիսի 21-ին` արտահերթ խորհրդական ընտրություններից հետո, ու եկել է այն եզրակացության, որ պետք է պատրաստվել հուժկու հանրահավաքների:

Իշխանական թեւի մի հատվածի կարծիքով՝ բանը չի հասնելու հանրահավաքների, քանի որ իրենք շատ բարձ տոկոս են հավաքելու, ու խնդիր չի լինելու թիմակիցներին փողոց դուրս հանել: Փաշինյանի հիմնական նպատակն է, որ հայրենի ընդդիմությունը կրկին Հանրապետության հրապարակում ցույցեր չիրականացնի, ինչի համար «իրենով է արել» հրապարակը:

Նշենք, որ հունիսի 21-24-ը ՀՀ վարչապետի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հանրահավաքներ է հրավիրել, բայց որեւէ մեկը չի բացատրել, թե ինչ նպատակով են այդ հավաքներն իրականացվելու: Մեր աղբյուրները փոխանցում են նաեւ, որ իշխանությունը վստահ է, թե ինքը մեծ հաղթանակ է ունենալու, որը չեն հանդուրժելու ընդդիմության ներկայացուցիչները, ինչի համար դեռեւս թեժ օրեր են սպասվում:

Ըստ իշխանության թեւի ներկայացուցիչների՝ արդեն իրավապահ համակարգում հրահանգված է արթուն լինել, որպեսզի կարողանան հետընտրական պրոցեսներին դիմակայել: Հավելենք, որ իշխանության ներսում շատ հակասական տրամադրություններ են, քանի որ այս ընթացքում աճում է նաեւ ընդդիմության վարկանիշը, որից իշխանությունները շատ վախենում են:
