Զավեշտալի է, երբ ադրբեջանական տեղանուններ նշելու արդարացումը Փաշինյանի թիմակիցները բացատրում էին նրանով, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը այդ տեղանունները նշել է, որպեսզի ընդգծի՝ ադրբեջանական զինուժը չի մտել հայկական տարածք: Այս մասին լրագրողների հետ ճեպազրույցի ընթացքում ասաց «Պատիվ ունեմ» խմբակցության ղեկավար Արթուր Վանեցյանը:

«Որևէ մեկը կարող էր պատկերացնել, որ մի օր ՀՀ միջպետական ճանապարհը փակվելու է ադրբեջանցիների կողմից ու որևէ արձագանք իշխանությունների կողմից, բացի խաղաղություն աղերսելուց, չի լինելու: Ես դեմ եմ ռազմական գործողություններին, ես դեմ եմ պատերազմին, ես պաշտպանում եմ խաղաղության օրակարգը, բայց այն պետք է լինի արժանապատիվ: Զարհուրելի է ուղղակի, ԱԺ-ում ես ասում եմ Սյունիք տանող միջպետական ճանապարհը փակ է, ինձ ոչ թե ասում են, թե ինչ պետք է անել կամ ինչու է այդպես, այլ ասում են՝ դու չես հասկանում՝ այլընտրանքային, գրունտային ճանապարհ կա»:

Վանեցյանը էժան փիառ համարեց ՊՆ նախարարի հրամանը՝ ՀՀ ինքնիշխան տարածք 1 սմ մուտք գործելու պարագայում կրակելու վերաբերյալ:

«Այդ երբ էր այդ հրամանը չեղարկվել, որ հիմա էլ նոր հրաման է տալիս: Չի կարելի մարդկանց մոլորեցնել և էժան փիառ անել»:

Անդրադառնալով սահմանապահ զորքերի կողմից սահմանը պաշտպանելու մասին հայտարարություններին՝ Վանեցյանը նշեց. «Ես սկզբունքորեն կողմ եմ, որ սահմանապահ զորքերը անցնեն մեր սահմանների պաշտպանությանը և ԶՈՒ ստորաբաժանումները զբաղվեն իրենց մարտական պատրաստվածությամբ: Բայց ես շատ լավ գիտեմ՝ ինչ վիճակում են սահմանապահ զորքերը, ինչ մարդկային կորուստ ունեն և այդ մարդկային ռեսուրսով ապահովել ՀՀ սահմանների անվտանգությունը այս փուլում հնարավոր չէ: Ամեն դեպքում ճիշտ է, որ սահմանապահ զորքերը իրականացնեն ՀՀ սահմանների պաշտպանությունը:

Խոսելով ՀՀ անվտանգային համակարգի և սահմանային իրավիճակի մասին՝ Վանեցյանը փաստեց, որ անվտանգություն ՀՀ-ում գոյություն չունի:

«ՀՀ-ում անվտանգային համակարգը խարխլվել է: Անվտանգությունը մի գործոն է, որը անտեսանելի է, այն կամ կա, և  դու այն չես զգում, կամ չկա և սկսվում է խուճապ»:
