Սեպտեմբերի 24-ին թիվ 1 Համալսարանական հիվանդանոցից ոստիկանության Կենտրոնական բաժին ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ «աջ գոտկատեղի և նստատեղի կտրած-ծակած վերք» ախտորոշմամբ իրենց մոտ է տեղափոխվել մի քաղաքացի:   Հիվանդանոց է մեկնել ոստիկանության Կենտրոնական բաժնի օպերատիվ խումբը՝ բաժնի պեետ Արման Պապյանի գլխավորությամբ:   Ոստիկանները պարզել են, որ վիրավորը Գեղարքունիքի մարզի բնակիչ, 19-ամյա Նարեկ Ա.-ն է:  

Մինչ բժիշկները նրան բուժօգնություն էին ցուցաբերում, ՀՀ ոստիկանության պարեկային ծառայության Երևանի գնդի 3-րդ գումարտակի ծառայողները՝ համագործակցելով ոստիկանության Կենտրոնական բաժնի ու ոստիկանության Մարաշի բաժանմունքի ծառայողների հետ, համատեղ նշված այգուց խուլիգանություն կատարելու կասկածանքով ոստիկանության Մարաշի բաժանմունք են բերման ենթարկել Գեղարքունիքի մարզի բնակիչներ, 20-ամյա Հայկ Պ.-ին, 25-ամյա Հարություն Հ.-ին, 20-ամյա Արման Ս.-ին, Լոռու մարզի բնակիչ, 38-ամյա Էրիկ Ե.-ին, Գեղարքունիքի մարզի բնակիչ, 29-ամյա Շահեն Ա.-ին, Երևանի բնակիչ, 28-ամյա Դորիկ Վ.-ին, Արմավիրի մարզի բնակիչ, 19-ամյա Նարեկ Պ.-ին, Գեղարքունիքի մարզի բնակիչ, 30-ամյա Գարիկ Հ.-ին, Երևանի բնակիչ, 30-ամյա Դավիթ Մ.-ին և Գեղարքունիքի մարզի բնակիչ, 28-ամյա Արգիշտի Վ.-ին:  

Ոստիկանները պարզել են, որ վերջիններս նշված այգում բացահայտ անհարգալից վերաբերմունք են ցուցաբերել հասարակության նկատմամբ, կոպիտ կերպով խախտել են հասարակական կարգը, որի ժամանակ Նարեկ Ա.-ն ստացել է մարմնական վնասվածք, իսկ բերման ենթարկված Արման Ս.-ի գլխի հատվածում առկա է եղել արյունոտ, պատռված վերք:   Ոստիկանները դեպքի վայրի զննությամբ հայտնաբերել են արյունոտ դանակ, իսկ Հայկ Պ.-ի մոտից խուզարկությամբ հայտնաբերվել է ծալովի դանակ:   Բերման ենթարկվածները այնուհետև բաց են թողնվել:
