«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է. ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը իշխանական թեւի ներկայացուցիչների համար զարմանալի մի որոշում է կայացրել: Բանն այն է, որ ՌԴ Դաշնային Ժողովի Դաշնության խորհրդի նախագահ Վալենտինա Մատվիենկոն Ալեն Սիմոնյանին ՌԴ է հրավիրել, ու վերջինս էլ, բնականաբար, ընդունել է հրավերը եւ մտադիր է մեծ իշխանական պատվիրակությամբ ՌԴ մայրաքաղաք Մոսկվա մեկնել:

Անգամ այնպիսի պատգսմավորներ են ընդգրկվելու պատվիրակության կազմում, որ ռուս-հայկական հարաբերությունները ջերմացնող ոչինչ չեն արել՝ հակառուսական դիրքորոշումներով հայտնի իշխանական պատգամավոր Ծովինար Վարդանյանը, ռուսական հարաբերությունների ջերմացման հարցում որեւէ «գործ» չարած Արուսյակ Ջուլհակյանը, Անդրանիկ Քոչարյանը, նախկին լրագրող-պատգամավորներ Սիսակ Գաբրիելյանն ու Արթուր Հովհաննիսյանը: ՔՊ-ական պատգամավոր Վլադիմիր Վարդանյանին եւս հնարավոր է Սիմոնյանը ընդգրկի պատվիրակության կազմում:

«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի աղբյուրները փոխանցում են, որ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը որոշել է հոկտեմբերի 3-6 ընկած ժամանակահատվածում ՌԴ կատարելիք այցի պատվիրակության կազմում ընդգրկել իր վաղեմի բարեկամներ, ԱԺ ՔՊ պատգամավորներ Խաչատուր Սուքիասյանին, Գուրգեն Արսենյանին: Ըստ մեր տեղեկությունների՝ քանի որ Ալեն Սիմոնյանին է անձամբ հրավերը եղել, նա միանձնյա է որոշում՝ ում հետ գնալ, եւ որոշվել է որեւէ ընդդիմադիր պատգամավոր չընդգրկել պատվիրակության կազմում:

Իշխանության ներսում եւս տարօրինակ են համարել Սիմոնյանի որոշումը, քանի որ եթե հնարավոր էր նման հանդիպումներով հայ-ռուսական հարաբերությունները ամրապնդել, ջերմացնել, մի օգտակար գործողություն իրականացնել, ապա տարօրինակ է, որ պատվիրակությունում կլինեն այնպիսի մարդիկ, որոնք այդ հարաբերություններում «չկան», զուտ էքսկուրսիա են գնալու Մոսկվա: Ի դեպ, նշվում է, որ այդ այցի շրջանակներում հանդիպում է նախատեսված նաեւ ՌԴ ԱԳ նախարար Սերգեյ Լավրովի հետ:
