ԱԺ նիստը մեկնարկելուն պես «Ժառանգություն» խմբակցության անդամ Զարուհի Փոստանջյանը ներկայացրեց «Օսմայան կայսրությունում ասորիների, հույների և հայերի նկատմամբ կատարված ցեղասպանությունների դատապարտման մասին» օրինագիծը, որը բուռն քննարկման առիթ հանդիսացավ խորհրդարանի համար:
ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր Գագիկ Մելիքյանը նշեց, որ իրենք չեն մասնակցելու քվեարկությանը:
ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն էլ հայտնեց, որ չնայած իր խմբակցությունը դեմ է, բայց ինքը լինելով հունական համայնքի անդամ կողմ կքվեարկի այս օրինագծին:
Հիշեցնենք, որ Զարուհի Փոստանջյանի «Օսմայան կայսրությունում ասորիների, հույների և հայերի նկատմամբ կատարված ցեղասպանությունների դատապարտման մասին» օրինագիծը ավելի վաղ մերժվել էր ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի կողմից:
Հիմնական զեկուցող Զարուհի Փոստանջյանն իր գործընկերներին հորդորեց կողմ քվեարկել նախագծին, նշելով. «Ինչո՞ւ պետք է պահանջեք այլ պետությունների դատապարտում և հայերի, և այլ ազգերի ցեղասպանությունը, եթե մենք ինքներս դա չենք անում»:
Զարուհի Փոստանջյանն իր գործընկերներին կոչ արեց քվեարկել նախագծին, եթե բոլորը գաղափարապես կիսում են այն իր հետ,իսկ հետագայում այն փոփոխությունների ու վերամշակումների կենթարկի:
ԱԺ արտաքին հարաբերությունների նախագահ Արտակ Զաքարյանն էլ իր զարմանքն արտահայտեց, ասելով. «Հանձնաժողովում հեղինակին բազմիցս առաջարկվել է չշտապել, վերամշակել, մաքրագրել և հիմա զարմանալի է, որ հեղինակն ասում է կվերամշակեմ: Ավելի ճիշտ կլինի միանգամից քննարկենք վերջնական տարբերակը»:
Նախկին արտգործնախարար, ԱԺ պատգամավոր Ալեքսանդր Արզումանյանը նշեց, որ օրինագծում կան սխալ և ծիծաղելի փաստեր, որոնք կարող են խայտառակել հայոց խորհրդարանը:
ԲՀԿ խմբակցության քարտուղար Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանն իր խոսքում նշեց, որ խորհրդարանի ցանկացած որոշում պետք է լինի քաղաքական, փաստարկված և ճշգրիտ:
«Իհարկե, «Բարգավաճ Հայաստան» կուսակցությունը դեմ չի քվեարկի, բայց խնդրում եմ տիկին Փոստանջյանին այս օրինագիծը չդնել քվեարկության»,- ասաց Զոհրաբյանը:
ԱԺ նախագահ Գալուստ Սահակյանն իր հերթին խնդրեց և հորդորեց Զարուհի Փոստնջյանին օրինագիծը չդնել քվեարկության և այն մշակել ու փոփոխել:
«Ես խնդրում եմ իմ խնդրանքը չմերժել: Դա կլինի միասնական աշխատանք»,- ասաց ԱԺ նախագահ Գալուստ Սահակյանը:
Զարուհի Փոստնջյանը հայտնեց, որ հետ է վերցնում այս օրինագիծն այն ակնկալիքով, որ բոլոր խմբակցություններն իրենց առաջարկները գրավոր կներկայացնեն իրեն` օրենքի նախագծում ներառելու համար:
