Ազգային ժողովի «Հայաստան» խմբակցության և վարչապետի պաշտոնը ծանրաբեռնած Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի յուրաքանչյուր հարցուպատասխան ավարտվում է Փաշինյանի հիստերիկ բղավոցներով, սակայն մեկ պատգամավորի՝ Արթուր Ղազինյանին հաջողվում է հունից լրիվ հանել Փաշինյանին։ Ընդդիմադիր պատգամավորը կառավարության հետ հարցուպատասխանի ժամանակ խոսել է, իր բառերով «այսպես կոչված միջանցքային տրամաբանության մասին», չորս բաղադրիչ է առաջ քաշել, որոնք, ըստ նրա, երաշխավորում են «միջանցքի» բացակայությունը. սահմանին կանգնելու են ՀՀ սահմանապահները, այդ ճանապարհով Հայաստան մուտք գործող ապրանքների և բեռների նկատմամբ մաքսային հսկողություն իրականացնելու են ՀՀ մաքսային ծառայությունները, ճանապարհին տեղի ունեցած պատահարները հետաքննելու են ՀՀ իրավապահները, և բոլոր տեսակի կոմունիկացիաները կառուցվելու են ՀՀ պետական բյուջեի միջոցներից: Պատգամավորը փորձել է վարչապետից պարզել, թե այս չորս բաղադրիչներն առկա՞ են լինելու բանակցվող և ստորագրվելիք միջազգային փաստաթղթում:

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կրկին սկսեց պատմել խաղաղության դարաշրջանի, կոմունիկացիաների բացման անհրաժեշտության մասին։ Արթուր Ղազինյանն, արձագանքելով Փաշինյանին, հայտնեց, որ «Զանգեզուրի միջանցք» կոչվողը վտանգավոր է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության համար, կարող են լինել միջազգային ճնշումներ, հարցրեց՝ եթե ճնշումները հասնեն այն աստիճանի, որ այլևս հնարավոր չլինի բանակցություններով խնդիրը կարգավորել և պատերազմի սպառնալիք լինի, գիտակցելով պահի անվտանգային նշանակությունը՝ պատրաստ կլինի՞ Փաշինյանը հրաժարվել իշխանությունից՝ հետաձգելով կամ թույլ չտալով պատերազմը:

Պատգամավորի ողջամիտ և տրամաբանական հարցից Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հերսոտեց, Ղազինյանին և նրա գործընկերներին սկսեց մեղադրել Ադրբեջանի շահերն առաջ մղելու մեջ։ Պարզ և հստակ պատասխանելու փոխարեն, ընդդիմադիր գործչին սկսեց մեղադրել ադրբեջանական տերմինաբանությամբ խոսելու մեջ։ Ավելին, ընդդիմությանը մեղադրեց օտար քաղաքական նարատիվներ զարգացնելու մեջ։

«Խորհուրդ եմ տալիս դատի և մենք առիթ կունենանք դա ապացուցելու»,- ասաց Փաշինյանը։

Իհարկե, վարչապետի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնող անձի այս հայտարարությունն ավելի քան անհեթեթ է, եթե ապացուցելու որևէ փաստ ունենար, չէր սպասի, որ ընդդիմությունն իրեն դատի տա։ Հանուն Հայաստանի Հանրապետության հրաժարական տալու հարցին՝ այդպես էլ չպատասխանեց՝ հերթական անգամ ապացուցելով, որ իր գերնպատակը ոչ թե երկիրն ու պետականությունն են, այլ ամեն գնով իշխանություն պահելու մոլուցքը։
