Հետևելով և համադրելով անցնող տարվա քաղաքական և աշխարհաքաղաքական զարգացումները, կարող ենք փաստել, որ 2022 թվականը ծանր, չափազանց ծանր տարի է լինելու Հայաստանի ու Արցախի համար, և իրատեսությունը պահանջում է դուրս գալ ամանորյա կենացների տրամաբանությունից ու ազնվորեն խոսել այդ մասին հասարակության հետ։ Այս տարվա ընթացքում Հայաստանը, ցավոք, շարունակելու է ապրել հետպատերազմական բոլոր անվտանգային ու գոյաբանական սպառնալիքների ներքո, որոնք Ադրբեջանն ու Թուրքիան օգտագործելու են իրենց ցանկացածը ստանալու համար։
 
Ըստ էության՝ լայն իմաստով, սակայն, մեր խնդիրը ոչ միայն ու ոչ այնքան այդ սպառնալիքների գոյությունն է ինքնին, այլ այն, որ Հայաստանը չունի դրանց դիմակայելու ունակ ու կարող իշխանություն։ Պետք է ընդգծենք, որ օբյեկտիվ ու սուբյեկտիվ գործոններով պայմանավորված՝ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն ի վիճակի չէ «ոչ» ասելու ո՛չ Ադրբեջանին ու Թուրքիային, ո՛չ էլ նաև նրանց շահերի դիրքերից հանդես եկող Ռուսաստանին ու Արևմուտքին։
 
Միանշանակ հավանականությունը շատ մեծ է, որ այս տարի առնվազն առարկայանալու է Ադրբեջանի հետ սահմանների դելիմիտացիայի ու դեմարկացիայի գործընթացը։ Հաշվի առնելով Ադրբեջանի շտապողականությունը, կա վտանգ, որ ի հեճուկս սահմանազատման ու սահմանագծման՝ տարիներ կամ տասնամյակներ տևող նախադեպերի, մեր դեպքում դա կարող է ավարտվել անգամ այս տարվա ընթացքում։ Ադրբեջանը, ինչպես հայտնի է, անում է ամեն ինչ՝ այդ գործընթացը Խաղաղության պայմանագրի՝ Արցախի ներառմամբ իր տարածքային ամբողջականությունը ճանաչող փաստաթղթի ստորագրման հետ փոխկապակցելու համար։ Զուգահեռաբար՝ այս տարվա ընթացքում կարող են որոշակի զարգացումներ տեղի ունենալ նաև հայ-թուրքական հարաբերություններում։ Հավելենք, որ ՀՀ իշխանությունը բազմիցս հայտարարել է նման ցանկության մասին ու ամեն առիթով «դրական ազդակներ» է հղում Թուրքիային։ Այնպես չէ, որ այդ գործընթացը Թուրքիային անհրաժեշտ չէ, բայց հաշվի առնելով ՀՀ ներկայիս իրավիճակը, Էրդողանն ամեն ինչ անելու է այն իրեն ցանկալի հունով ուղղորդելու ու Հայաստանից առավելագույնը ստանալու համար։
 
Եթե ընդհանրացնենք ասվածը՝ իրականում հենց այս երկու ուղղություններն են, որոնք կազմելու են ՀՀ ոչ միայն՝ արտաքին, այլև՝ ներքին քաղաքական օրակարգերի մեծ մասը։ Ընդ որում, խնդիրն այն չէ, որ Ադրբեջանի ու Թուրքիայի հետ հարաբերությունները միայն սպառնալիքներ են ներկայացնում, և պետք է ամեն գնով խուսափել դրանցից։ 
 
Աներբա է, որ արտաքին քաղաքական որևէ գործընթաց ցանկացած պետության համար պարունակում է՝ ինչպես սպառնալիքներ, այնպես էլ՝ հնարավորություններ։ Սպառնալիքներին դիմակայելու համար պետք է դիմադրողականություն ունեցող պետություն և համարձակություն ունեցող իշխանություն, որը, ցավոք, Հայաստանը չունի։ Հնարավորություններն իրացնելու համար անհրաժեշտ է կրկին ներքին դիմադրողականություն և կամք, ինտելեկտ ու սկզբունքայնություն ունեցող իշխանություն, որը ևս, դժբախտաբար, Հայաստանը չունի։
 
Այս ամենը նշանակում է, որ ՀՀ իրական սպառնալիքը ոչ միայն ու ոչ այնքան Ադրբեջանի կամ Թուրքիայի հետ հարաբերություններում այս կամ այն զարգացումն է, որը տեղի է ունենալու բոլոր դեպքերում, այլ այդ զարգացումներում ադեկվատ ու հայկական շահը պաշտպանելու ունակ իշխանության բացակայությունը։ Այսինքն՝ առաջին հայացքից առավելապես արտաքին մարտահրավերներ ունեցող Հայաստանի իրական մարտահրավերը երկրի ներսում է՝ Հանրապետության հրապարակում ու Բաղրամյան փողոցում, որտեղ գտնվողները փորձում են հասարակությանը համոզել, որ մեր խնդիրները Բաքվում են, Անկարայում, Մոսկվայում կամ Վաշինգտոնում։
