Թուրքիայի նախագահ Թայիփ Էրդողանը երկուշաբթի օրը հայտարարել է, որ փետրվարին կայցելի Սաուդյան Արաբիա, որի հարաբերությունները Անկարայի հետ վերջին տարիներին լարված են եղել, հայտնում է Reuters-ը։

Մեկնաբանելով Սաուդյան Արաբիա արտահանման հետ կապված խնդիրները լուծելու հարցը՝ Էրդողանն ասել է, որ փետրվարին կայցելի երկիր։

«Նա ինձ սպասում է փետրվարին։ Նա խոստացել է, եւ ես փետրվարին կայցելեմ Սաուդյան Արաբիա»,- ասել է Էրդողանը` առանց անուններ տալու:

Գործակալությունը նշում է, որ Թուրքիայի նախագահի մեկնաբանությամբ տեսանյութը հրապարակվել է սոցիալական ցանցերում։

Վերջին տարիներին Սաուդյան Արաբիա արտահանումը կտրուկ անկում է ապրել՝ կապված երկրների միջեւ անկայուն հարաբերությունների հետ։ Թուրքիան այժմ փորձում է շտկել հարաբերությունները տարածաշրջանային տերությունների, այդ թվում՝ Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրությունների հետ, քանի որ երկրի տնտեսությունը արժույթի փլուզում եւ ինֆլյացիայի կտրուկ աճ է ապրում:

Սաուդյան Արաբիայի կառավարության մամուլի ծառայությունը դեռ չի մեկնաբանել Էրդողանի հայտարարությունը։

Թուրքիայի նախագահը դեկտեմբերին Կատար կատարած այցի ժամանակ փորձել էր հանդիպել Սաուդյան Արաբիայի թագաժառանգ Մուհամմեդ բեն Սալմանի հետ։ Այն ժամանակ հանդիպումը չէր կայացել, սակայն իրազեկ աղբյուրները հայտնել են, որ այն կարող է կայանալ մոտ ապագայում։

Թուրքիայի եւ Սաուդյան Արաբիայի միջեւ լարվածության պատճառ է դարձել լրագրող Ջամալ Խաշոգջիի սպանությունը։

Խաշոգջին սպանվել է 2018 թվականի հոկտեմբերին Ստամբուլում՝ Սաուդյան Արաբիայի հյուպատոսարանում։ Սկզբում Սաուդյան Արաբիայի իշխանությունները հերքում էին նրա անհետացումը դիվանագիտական առաքելությունում, սակայն տեսա եւ աուդիո ձայնագրությունների հայտնվելուց որոշ ժամանակ անց նրանք ստիպված էին խոստովանել, որ Խաշոգջին սպանվել է «հյուպատոսական պաշտոնյաների հետ վիճաբանության հետեւանքով»։ Թուրքիայի ոստիկանությանն այդպես էլ չի հաջողվել գտնել նրա մարմինը։

Արաբական ԶԼՄ-ներն առաջ են քաշում վարկածներ, որ Խաշոգջիի սպանության հրամանը, որը քննադատում էր Սաուդյան Արաբիայի իշխանությունների գործողությունները, կարող էր տալ թագավորությունում գահի հավակնորդ՝ թագաժառանգ Մուհամմեդ բեն Սալմանը։ Սակայն թագավորության արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը հայտարարել է, որ թագաժառանգը ոչ մի կապ չունի այս հանցագործության հետ։
