Արաբական Միացյալ Էմիրություններ աշխատանքային այցի շրջանակում Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը հանդիպել է ԱՄԷ արտաքին գործերի և միջազգային համագործակցության նախարար, շեյխ Աբդալլահ բին Զայեդ Ալ-Նահյանի հետ: Այս մասին հայտնում են նախագահի աշխատակազմից:

Հանդիպման օրակարգում առանցքային են եղել տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության և կայունությանը վերաբերող հարցերը: Հայաստանի նախագահն անդրադարձել է Արցախի հարցին, պատերազմից հետո մեր երկրում և տարածաշրջանում ստեղծված իրավիճակին, զարգացումներին ու մարտահրավերներին:

Խոսելով պատերազմի հետևանքով առաջացած մարդասիրական խնդիրների մասին՝ Հայաստանի նախագահը մասնավորապես նշել է, որ Ադրբեջանը շարունակում է անազատության մեջ պահել հայ ռազմագերիների և քաղաքացիական անձանց: Այս հրատապ խնդրի լուծման գործում Հայաստանն ակնկալում է նաև միջազգային գործընկերների գործնական աջակցությունը:

Անդրադառնալով երկկողմ հարաբերություններին՝ կողմերը նշել են, որ ՀՀ-ԱՄԷ քաղաքական երկխոսության բարձր մակարդակը նպաստավոր հիմքեր է ստեղծում փոխշահավետ տնտեսական ու ներդրումային համագործակցության համար: Նախագահ Սարգսյանը հայ-էմիրաթական հարաբերությունները կարևորել է նաև Հայաստանի և արաբական երկրների միջև փոխգործակցության համատեքստում:

ԱՄԷ արտաքին գործերի և միջազգային համագործակցության նախարարն ընդգծել է Հայաստանի հետ արդյունավետ և փոխշահավետ համագործակցությունն ընդլայնելու Միացյալ Էմիրությունների շահագրգռությունը: Նա մասնավորապես կարևորել է փոխգործակցության խորացումը էներգետիկայի, տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաների, սննդի անվտանգության, զբոսաշրջության ոլորտներում:

Նշվել է, որ երկու երկրների միջև հաստատված օդային նոր կամուրջը Հայաստանի և ԱՄԷ միջև առևտրատնտեսական ու գործարար կապերի ամրապնդմանն ուղղված ևս մեկ հուսալի քայլ է:

Նախագահ Սարգսյանն անդրադարձել է նաև Հայաստանի վերականգնվող էներգետիկայի ոլորտում էմիրաթական «Մասդար» ընկերության կողմից իրականացվող ներդրումային ծրագրին՝ կարևորելով դրա ընդլայնումը և նոր ներդրումները:

Կողմերն ընդգծել են երկկողմ փոխայցելությունների կարևորությունը: Այդ համատեքստում նախարար Աբդալլահ բին Զայեդ Ալ-Նահյանը պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել առաջիկայում այցելել Հայաստան:

Համաձայնելով, որ հայ-էմիրաթական հարաբերությունները, փոխգործակցության հիմնական ուղղություններն ու նախագծերը միտված են ապագային՝ զրուցակիցները նշել են. քանի որ առկա է համագործակցության մեծ ներուժ, հնարավորություն և ավելին անելու ցանկություն, պետք է համատեղ ջանքերով հետևողականորեն շարժվել առաջ:
