Ինչպես տեսնում ենք Ուկրաինայի շուրջ իրավիճակը շարունակում է զարգանալ գերլարված անորոշությամբ: Գրեթե բոլորը փորձում են ստանալ, կանխատեսել կամ կանխագուշակել հարցի պատասխանը՝ Ռուսաստանը կհարձակվի՞, թե ոչ, կամ ի՞նչ մասշտաբով և ե՞րբ կարող է լինել հարձակումը:

Թեմայի հետ կապված Հայաստանում այդ հարցերը հետաքրքրության են արժանի, իհարկե, ամենևին ոչ հեռահար ինտրիգի տրամաբանությամբ: Ուկրաինայի շուրջ կուտակված խնդիրներն ու իրադրությունը պարունակում են Հայաստանի համար էական նշանակության հարցեր, գործոններ: Այդ ամենին առնչվում են դերակատարներ, որոնք իրենց համաշխարհային ազդեցությամբ կամ ռեգիոնալ հավակնություններով էական դեր ունեն նաև Կովկասում, ըստ այդմ Ուկրաինայում նրանց համաձայնությունները կամ անհամաձայնությունները կարող են այս կամ այն կերպ անգամ ուղիղ իմաստով ներառել Կովկասը, հետևաբար նաև Հայաստանին ու Արցախին առնչվող կարևոր հարցեր: Այդ իրավիճակում հնչում են գնահատականներ կամ դիտարկումներ, որ գերլարված իրավիճակում Հայաստանը պետք է կողմնորոշվի: Թե ինչ է նշանակում կողմնորոշվել, մինչև վերջ դեռևս ոչ ոք չի բացում՝ բավարարվելով ընդհանրական գնահատականներով: Այստեղ, իհարկե, շատ դեպքերում տողատակը պարունակում է այն համատեքստը, որ Հայաստանը պետք է կողմնորոշվի Արևմուտքի հետ դիմակայության հարցում Ռուսաստանի հետ կամ կողքին լինել-չլինելու առումով:

Ըստ էության, առերևույթ բավականին տրամաբանական հարցադրում կամ շեշտադրում է, որը սակայն խորքային առումով իր մեջ պարունակում է վտանգներ: Վտանգներ հատկապես այն պարագայում, երբ պարզ չէ Ուկրաինայի շուրջ պտտվող խաղի ելքն ու վերջնական տրամաբանությունը, Ուկրաինայի շուրջ տեղի ունեցողի քաղաքական համատեքստը, ուժերի, խաղացողների միջև հարաբերակցությունը, քննարկումների, սակարկությունների առարկան, երբ պարզ չէ՝ կա՞ արդյոք ԱՄՆ-Ռուսաստան որևէ ստվերային գործարք, արդյո՞ք այդ առնչությամբ չէ, որ Ուկրաինայի հարցում ԱՄՆ ու Մեծ Բրիտանիայի հետ ամբողջությամբ համահունչ չեն Ֆրանսիան ու Գերմանիան, որոնք փորձում են պահել ՌԴ հետ քննարկումների և հարաբերության այլ տոնայնություն, որոնք փաստորեն չեն միանում Ուկրաինային սպառազինության մատակարարման գործընթացին, և այլն:

Գոյություն ունեն բազմաթիվ հարցեր, որոնք առնվազն Երևանից չափազանց անորոշ են, մշուշոտ: Օրերս Գերմանիայի հետախուզական ծառայության ղեկավարը, անդրադառնալով իրավիճակին, նշել էր, որ այն կարող է զարգանալ «հազարավոր ձևերով»: Եվ այդպես առնվազն արտահայտվում են Գերմանիայում, որտեղ անշուշտ ունեն տեղի ունեցողի վերաբերյալ բազմապատիկ ավելի տեղեկատվություն, քան Հայաստանի թե՛ պաշտոնական, թե՛ նաև փորձագիտաքաղաքագիտական շրջանակներում: Ահա այդ իրավիճակում ի՞նչ կողմնորոշման մասին կարող է լինել խոսքը, դեպի ո՞ւր կողմնորոշման մասին: Եթե Հայաստանն առկա իրավիճակում ունի մի խնդիր կամ գերխնդիր, ապա դա հենց «կողմնորոշումներից» խուսանավելն է և հակամարտող կամ դիմակայող բոլոր կողմերի հետ «հավասար» հարաբերության տրամաբանությամբ աշխատելը: Տվյալ դեպքում խոսքը համեմատական, հարաբերական «հավասարության» մասին է, քանի որ Ռուսաստանն այս պարագայում օբյեկտիվորեն գտնվում է Հայաստանի ուժերից վեր՝ «հավասարների մեջ ավելի հավասար» դիրքում:
