Նարեկ Մանթաշյանը այս պահին ՔԿՀ-ում խոշտանգման է ենթարկվում: Այս մասին հայտարարություն են տարածել «Այլընտրանք» ՀԿ-ի ղեկավար, «Հայաստան» դաշինքի անդամ Նարեկ Մանթաշյանի փաստաբանները:

«Քիչ առաջ դուրս եկանք ՔԿՀ-ից: Գիշերը ժամը 1-ից Նարեկ Մանթաշյանը ունեցել է առողջական վիճակի սրացումներ և խնդրել կապվել իր փաստաբանների հետ և տեղափոխել իրեն հիվանդանոց կամ ցուցաբերել բուժօգնություն, սակայն ՔԿՀ պատասխանատուները զանգի հնարավորություն չեն տվել, քանի որ ԱԱԾ-ն արգելանք է դրել հեռախոսազանգեր կատարելու իրավունքի վրա, իսկ բուժծառայության ղեկավարը (աջ կողմի նկարում, Գարեգին Սարգսյան) պատասխանել է, որ պետք է մինչև երկուշաբթի սպասել, ինքը հանգստից վերադառնա և որոշի հիվանդանոց տեղափոխել, թե՝ ոչ, իսկ ՔԿՀ-ում համապատասխան բուժում իրականացնող բժիշկ չկա:

Սա լրջագույն շեղում է մարդու իրավունքների օրակարգից և փաստացի պատիժ է Նարեկ Մանթաշյանի նկատմամբ, այստեղ մենք՝ փաստաբաններս, ընդգծված քաղաքական պատվեր և մոտիվ ենք տեսնում: Նման անմարդկային վերաբերմունքի այլ պատճառ մեզ հասանելի չէ: Չնայած արդեն, իսկ օպերատիվ արձագանք եղել է, բայց մեկ անգամ ևս հրավիրում եմ ՀՀ Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան – Human Rights Defender of Armenia Defender of Armenia -ի ուշադրությունը: Իսկ ՀՀ արդարադատության նախարարություն/Ministry of Justice of Armeniatry of Justice of Armeniace of Armenia-ը սթափության կոչ ենք անում. Նարեկ Մանթաշյանին տանում եք դանդաղ մահվան: Առողջական խնդրից զատ, իր փաստաբանների հետ կապ հաստատելու իրավունքից զրկումը ևս մեկ կոպտագույն սահմանադրաիրավական և միջազգային իրավական պարտավորություններից շեղում է:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Նարեկ Մանթաշյանին մեղադրանք է առաջադրվել ՀՀ ՔՕ 225-րդ հոդվածի 1 -ին և 2-րդ մասերով՝ այն է զանգվածային անկարգություններ կազմակերպելը և դրանց ժամանակ բռնություն գործադրելը ջարդ կամ հրկիզում իրականացնելը, գույք ոչնչացնելը կամ վնասելը, հրազեն, պայթուցիկ նյութեր կամ պայթուցիկ սարքեր գործադրելը կամ իշխանության ներկայացուցչին զինված դիմադրելը։
