Եթե խորանանք մեր տարածաշրջանում տեղի ունեցող գործընթացներին և դրանց փորձենք նայել հնարավորինս ռացիոնալ աչքով ու սթափ բանականությամբ, ապա կարող են եզրահանգել, որ ավելի անիրական և մտացածին գաղափար, քան այսօրվա պայմաններում Ադրբեջանի հետ նորմալ դրացիությունը, դժվար է պատկերացնել:

Նորմալ տրամաբանություն ունեցող անհատի մոտ միանգամից պետք է բանական հարց առաջանա՝ ինչպե՞ս կարելի է նորմալ հարաբերություններ հաստատել մի երկրի հետ, որտեղ վաղուց որպես պետական քաղաքականություն է ընդունված հայատյացությունը, իսկ եթե դրան գումարվի մեր խայտառակ պարտությունը, ապա պատկերը կամբողջանա: Եվ որքան էլ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը խոսի խաղաղ դարաշրջանի մեկնարկի մասին, չի կարող ստիպել Իլհամ Ալիևին, որ վերջինս հրաժարվի հայատյացությունից, քանի որ դա այնպիսի գաղափար է, որի վրա Ալիևը կառուցել է իր իշխանությունը:

Դույզն ինչ կասկած չկա, որ Իլհամը չի հրաժարվի ոչ միայն հայատյացությունից, այլև նույնիսկ հայաստանյան այլ տարածքներ գրավելու գաղափարից: Եվ դա՝ այն ժամանակ, երբ ինքը հաղթանակ տարած գլխավոր հրամանատար է: Իսկ նման մեկին, այն էլ՝ ազգությամբ թուրք, ստիպել, որ իրական խաղաղություն հաստատվի, կարելի է միայն զենքի ուժով: Եվ ոչ թե հորդորով՝ առավել ևս՝ աղերսի: Իսկ նման երազանք ունեցողը երկրի ղեկավարը ոչ միայն ձևականորեն է թերուս, այլև բացարձակ չի ճանաչում հարևան ազգի բնույթը: Չմոռանանք, որ այդ նույն թերուսը երկու-երեք տարի առաջ Տիգրան Մեծով էր ուզում խոսքի մակարդակում հաղթել Իլհամին, իսկ հիմա խաղաղություն է մուրում: Ու անընդհատ, որպես պատասխան, հոխորտանք ու ստորացում է ստանում:

Ըստ էության, այսօրվա իրավիճակում և հատկապես Փաշինյանի իշխանության պայմաններում իմաստ չունի խոսել վրեժի մասին: Ընդամենը պետք է փորձենք պահպանել այն, ինչ դեռ մնացել է, որովհետև նիկոլական դրացիության հաստատման գործընթացում կարող ենք անընդհատ կորուստներ ունենալ: Ինչպես ասում են՝ աչքը տեսածից է վախենում: Ասվածը վերաբերում է թե՛ կոմունիկացիաներ բացելուն և թե՛ հատկապես Ադրբեջանի հետ Հայաստանի սահմանների ճշտման խնդրին: Այնպես որ, պարտավոր ենք դրացիության հաստատման փորձերը թողնել ապագային:

Փաստն այն է, որ ներկայումս մեր համար առաջնային է ճանապարհ գտնել Նիկոլին հնարավորինս արագ իշխանությունից հեռացնելու համար: Գտնել հնարավորինս անցնցում և խաղաղ ճանապարհ:
