ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի ուղերձ է հղել Ղարաբաղյան շարժման տարեդարձի կապակցությամբ՝ նշելով, որ Ղարաբաղյան շարժումը շրջադարձային նշանակություն ունեցավ հայ ժողովրդի հետագա պատմության համար։

Ինչպես տեղեկացրին ՀՀ վարչապետի աշխատակազմից, վարչապետ Փաշինյանի ուղերձում նշված է. «34 տարի առաջ այս օրերին սկսվեց Ղարաբաղյան շարժումը, որը շրջադարձային նշանակություն ունեցավ հայ ժողովրդի հետագա պատմության համար: Հայաստանում և Արցախում ձևավորված համաժողովրդական շարժումը բացառիկ էր իր հզորությամբ, խորապես ազգային էր և ժողովրդավարական։

Համաժողովրդական շարժմամբ մեր ժողովուրդը կրկին ցույց տվեց իր միասնությունը, կարևորագույն պահերին որպես մեկ միասնական բռունցք համախմբվելու և վճռականությամբ գործելու կարողությունը՝ հանուն ազգային նպատակների իրականացման:

Շարժումը մեր պետականության վերականգնման առաջին քայլը հանդիսացավ, որով վերագտանք ազատ և անկախ ապրելու, մեր ճակատագիրը կերտելու ու մեր ապագան տնօրինելու վճռականությունը:

Այսօր մենք հիշում և մեր գլուխները խոնարհում ենք մեր հերոսների՝ Ղարաբաղյան առաջին և երկրորդ պատերազմներում, վերջին երեք տասնամյակներում հանուն Հայրենիքի իրենց կյանքը զոհած մեր բոլոր նահատակների հիշատակի առաջ:

Արցախն այսօր՝ չնայած վիրավոր, սակայն կանգուն է:  Այսօր մեր քայլերն ուղղված են ոչ միայն արցախահայության սոցիալ-տնտեսական խնդիրների լուծմանը, անվտանգային մարտահրավերների հաղթահարմանը, այլև Արցախի հայության իրավունքների պաշտպանությանը, այդ իրավունքների միջազգայնորեն արձանագրմանը:   

Համոզված եմ՝ հայ ժողովուրդը շուտով կբուժի անցած պատերազմի վերքերը և էլ ավելի վճռական ու ամուր քայլերով կընթանա դեպի ապագա՝ հանուն մեր իղձերի ու երազանքների իրականացման: Միայն այդպես կկարողանանք վառ պահել մեր բոլոր հերոս զավակների հիշատակը: Նրանց սերունդների, մեր ընդհանուր Հայրենիքի համար խաղաղ զարգացման դարաշրջան բացելը կլինի մեծագույն տուրքը նրանց հիշատակին, որով կերաշխավորվի մեր պետության հարատևությունը, Արցախի իրավունքների միջազգային ճանաչումն ու իրացումը: Այս նպատակների իրացումը պահանջում է հետևողական, շրջահայաց և ազնիվ աշխատանք ու այս աշխատանքի մեջ պիտի լինենք անսասան»:
